If the EU, Canada, Mexico, and China keep hitting Trump back with counter tariffs, then Trump has no choice but to raise his tariffs again, and in turn EU, Canada, Mexico, and China we'll raise their tariffs again.

But since Trump started all this, he's going to have to find a face saving way to get out of all this, and I don't see that happening.

Best way forward is for EU, Canada, Mexico, and China to gang up and hit the United States back so hard with tariffs, that Trump has no choice but to back down

I'd rather join the US than the EU, not that I want to do either. Joining the EU means more indiscriminate mass immigration, more globalist crap, more climate initiatives, and more of the suicidal empathy that has been cratoring our standard of living. At least if we joined the US our economy wouldn't tank. Though joining the US comes with a host of other issues.
