When your goal in life as a grown man is to look like some demon from a movie you saw when you were 5, yes, you're mentally ill and/or stunted. He wants attention and he'll get that at the freak show. He doesn't want to be treated as an equal. He wants to be the freak, the outsider and get media attention for the negative reaction he craves.
+1

It's not even about the tattoos. He dyed the whites of his eyes black in order to look like a demon.

AND, he is clearly seeking attention. Does not seem like a stable individual.

He has a job that requires dealing with the public(parents and children). Part of his job is shaping young minds. Some children may be terrified of him on the 1st day of class. Others may want to emulate him. He may be the greatest guy in the world and wonderful with kids, but he turned himself into a circus freak or something that belongs in a Hellraiser or similar type movie. I'm amazed he was even hired. His outcome is unfortunate, but he brought it on himself through his choices. If I had a young child, I cannot see myself allowing him or her child anywhere near the school that employs him. There are still jobs in this world where a professional appearance is required and I believe a teacher is one of them. I also struggle with comparing his situation to racism and homophobia.

Hate to see that schools janitor .
He would definitely make a better high school teacher, getting through to the older students. Definitely seems to know about art , media and popular culture.

I bet you’re in your mid 50’s and wear NewBalance running shoes, and your wife is a Karen and likes scratch and wins.

Are you listening to yourself?

You are out of touch with reality if you think his appearance has nothing to do with his suitability for the job.

I think you're describing your parents... the people you're trying so desperately to rebel against with your tattoos. Beyond the age of 15, it's a bit tedious and immature.

The tattooed demon wannabe lost his job. Get over it and do better.

When he was hired, he had a few tattoos under his shirt.

Then at some point recently, he went all in on the ink.

I wonder how much all that tattoo work cost? I know its not cheap.

I remember there was this guy who was in Lady gaga videos (canadian guy actually) who kind of did the same thing (ended up killing himself if I recall). At one point, just for a laugh, he applied makeup to himself and the result was a fairly normal looking guy.

If this idiot wants to keep his job, and not scare the shit out of little kids (who don't deserve that), then he can apply makeup to his face every day.

If he can't be bothered to do that, then fuck him.

He is legit scary looking to anyone and he knows it and did it intentionally.
This is it right here.

He did the tattoos with intent and that intent was to garner attention, either positive or negative, but being a smart man, he knew mostly negative.

As adults, we have to make choices for our lives and that includes excepting consequences. Including natural consequences and for tattoos to that extreme, it means losing out on jobs where professional appearances matter.

This is a choice he made. Not like being transsexual where it is not by choice. This was a choice, now live with it. It means not being a teacher to young children. So be one to older children. College or online learning. There are options. Limited because of his choice but there are still options.
