Does anyone use Teksavvy? Are they reliable? Any troubles? How is the tech support?

I am looking to get netflix and looking to get a ISP with unlimited bandwith with a low price. I am currently with Bell and they don't give me enough band width 25gb/mounth and if I want more I have to pay more $$$. Teksavvy has very reasonable prices for unlimite bandwidth. Are they good?

I use them for their cable internet... The tech support is fast and they actually know what they're talking about in my experience.

Rogers and cogeco etc are going to cause all their resellers to have caps and overage charges that closely mirror their own by mid year due to the decision in bell's favour that allows them to do the same recently.

they have to eventually have to cap the internet caus they use bell line
I called and asked about the CRTC change and how this affect me if I sign up with them
I was told; they will make annoncement in the coming months
I am sticking with current ISP in the mean time

I switched from Sympatico to Teksavvy a few years ago. I'm satisfied.
When I signed up, the salesman told me to take the 200Gb/month package instead of unlimited. He was right. I don't think I've ever gone over 100.

But as of right now, their cable service is uncapped and unthrottled, while their dsl service is under the bell traffic shaping scheme

Which is a true bitch. I seldom get good flow on emule or my torrents. More like a slow trickle.

Thank the CRTC and Bhell. Pisses me off.
Fucking mother fuckers!!!
I've been UNCAPPED ever since signing (actually, there's NO CONTRACT) with my little ISP over 5 years ago. I just got the same form email that all 'non-capping' ISP's had to send out to their clients a few days ago, about how the CRTC and BELL have gotten together to BUTT-RAPE us.

Eh, what about Teksavvy's home phone line service?
Any good?
I recently cancelled EVERYTHING on my BELL line but it still costs about $30/month. WTF?!?!?
I can get regular phone line with caller ID from Teksavvy for less than that, after tax.
Problem is with Service Levels.
I know BELL is NOTORIOUS for 'taking their sweet time' to fix problems of customers of other phone providers because they want the client to get upset and return to BELL for their service. That being said, is anyone here a Teksavvy home phone client? If so, how long have you been? How is the service, the customer service, the technical support (for fixing phone line problems)?

Thanks!
