Seeing as how the most recent TERB party at the Dollhouse was such a success who would be interested in following up this Spring with a golf tournament?

This would enable some of us guys who find it "difficult" to attend parties at a strip club a chance to meet everyone in an atmosphere that is a little easier to hide from your "significant other".

I am IN!!!

You got it right when you said that some members find it a bit difficult to do the Terb party ... though it did sound like fun.

There are lots of courses that can host groups up to 144 golfers with cart etc etc. I was at a similar event in Niagara once - what a blast.

I'm there too!

Could we have a dancer, MP or SP with every group?? Surely some lady terbies would be interested.

All great business deals are made on the golf course aren't they? :p

Why not just play in the Manor tournament?

The Manor already does this at Guelph Lakes every summer - they shut the course down & encourage you to hire a dancer as a caddie for the day. Why not just plan to put together a foursome (or several) in that tournament & let someone else do all the heavy lifting?

Having organized work golf tournaments (& the recent Terb KW party - good turnout but ~50% no shows & higher than that with the ladies) I think you're in for a world of hurt unless you keep it really small & really informal - more of a "hey guys, who wants to get together for a round of golf when the season hits?"

I'd play in any case, but i just think keeping the scale smaller is a better idea.

Although it's a great idea... golf tournaments are a huge amount of work and may not be worth the financial risk and time involved. In addition to the turnout concerns that Rogie mentioned... the weather will also play a significant role in the final numbers.

I like Rogie's idea... get 3-4 "foursomes" together (sounds so sexual doesn't it?) and play an afternoon round of golf... followed by a get together at a local SC or private park location for a BBQ where other Terbites and ladies can join. Sit around a big campfire afterwards and then share stories about who provided our most intense orgasms. :p

Having organized numerous golf tournaments like Rogie... most decent course would require an upfront non-refundable guarantee of at least 18 foursomes to block their golf course off. For an average quality course in our area, the green fee and cart rental would probably be at least $65-80 per person before any other expenses.

I agree

Don't organize a tournament per se, but simply book some tee times for a group of 4 somes...show up and play....and hit a bar or other location afterwards.

Easy planning and no financial risk being taken by anybody.

I'm in for sure. Foxwood for a cheap course....Rebel Creek for a pricier one would be my suggestions.

Informal Golf

Reading your responses you are probably right that there is a lot of work , effort and $ req'd to set up a full blown tournament.

Perhaps we'll just keep the "informal "approach in mind as the season progresses.
