Fajitas & Karaoke @ Chick'nDeli!
I say we raid Chick'nDeli on a Wednesay night for Fajitas and Karaoke.
Don't warn them we are all coming though. Just pick a Wednesday night and we just all show up and have a good time.

Way back when...
I remember when TERB parties were great. There was as many as 200 people who would show up at some. One Xmas party we gathered a whole pick-up truck full of toys for the CHUM Xmas Wish.
Back then 99% of the parties were all at SCs. Sometimes there was almost as many ladies as there were men.
I think part of what happened is that at a couple of parties some dancers at the SCs did not like the presence of so many SPs. And to be fair it is true IMO that guys were not buying very many dances because they were too busy paying attention to the SPs or maybe just to busy yakking with their fellow TERB members. So some of these dancers had some not so nice comments to make that were over heard by a couple of SPs. And you know how word travels around here. So at the next few parties very few if any ladies showed up at all. And of course then the attendance of guys started to fall as well.
Then to add even more water to the dieing cinders someone decided to start promoting adult industry parties at other venues other then SCs and try to make some money at it. (All TERB parties were for free and if anything cost me money, I did not ever make any kind of profit) Anyway nothing wrong with that btw. The problem with that was there was on two different occasions there were some LE activity and I think that kind of turned people off from attending any more adult industry events. There may be some other factors as well, I am sure there is, as to why this whole party phase seems to be dieing. All in all though... it's just not like it use to be.
I don't think I will be organizing too many more parties for a while to come. I was very happy with the turn out and had lots of fun at my B-Day party at Paradise. But honestly that was the first what IMO is a successful TERB party in a long time. Previous to that this whole party thing to me seemed like it was dieing. And I am happy that Winston had a good time and enjoyed his B-Day bash. Personally I was kind of disappointed at that one. I promised Tommy that there would be about 50 people coming out etc... And then barely a handful showed up. About half the people who said they were coming did not show.
Last but not least... if I am going to a party that is a sex industry board related then to be bare bones honest... I want lots of girls there, lots of industry people there, lots of eye candy there and yes a party is for people to have a good time... but I also want to be networking and making new contacts to help my biz. And that is just not happening anymore... so what can one say?

<cough, cough> As long as we are suggesting bars close to SCs... then I suggest Brandys at Y&B. Very roomy... enough room for people to mingle etc... good food... decent stafff... and close to The Rail for those that may want to hop back and forth.

Maybe a change of pace from a SC would be to try a MP, how about a toga party at a MP somewhere?
