TERB will not 'remember' me?

While I was away from the office for a couple of days they did some software up grades on my computer. I did reboot to make sure all the upgrades took. Now whenever I sign on TERB I have to re-enter my name and password. I clicked on remember me but it does not seem to be working. Seems to work fine on BluePages and other fourms that I visit but not here. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks.

Take the hint... that's the first step. We had a meeting while you were away.
We decided not to remember you and if that doesn't work and you still keep coming online, we will hide TERB so you can never find us. ;)

Done did do. I lowered the sliding thingy to lowest setting. Now it says "Accepts All Cookies". But... Still not working. Maybe I have to re-boot agian. But don't have time to shut down all my applications right now and then re-boot agian. But you should not have to re-boot when simply changing settings do you?

I am not an expert on these things, but quite possibly it could be your connection at work that is preventing the cookies from being set.

And no, you do not have to reboot to affect the changes in the settings.

You might be right.

Seems they are cracking down here lately. While I have freedom to roam the net at will (because I'm Sr. Adult Ad Rep) Others who are not in my dept should not be going on adult sites... but maybe they are anyway so the company decided to slow them down.

I seem to be having the same problem as Nighthwk described. I went into tools...internet... and changed settings so that all cookies are accepted from terb. I've signed in, checked the remember me box, re booted, and and I still have to sign in to post or read reviews. Anyone have any other ideas?

You may want to reconsider...

visiting Perb using your office computer, especially if you work for someone else.

Some companies block access to sites serving up adult content. Some go even further and track prohibited activity. While others can, and will, terminate your employment for repeated violations (usually 2nd or third although I know of a couple of clients who have a zero tolerance policy!).

Its none of my business, but you likely don't want to be trying to explain to your boss what you were doing on Terb in the middle of your work day.

Thanks for your response. I don't know if you are responding to Nighthwk or me, but I suspect Nighthwk's situation is straightened out since he posted awhile ago. My difficulties have nothing to do with work. I am on my computer at home. I never had any problem logging onto terb until a couple of weeks ago. Now I have to register every time. I did not change any settings on my computer before I began to have this problem. Does anyone know how to correct it?

TIA -Q-

It's not an issue for me at work if I am on-line and viewing or posting on TERB during work hours since I work in the adult industry. I did reset my settings though, rebooted my computer etc but still am having same problem. No big deal though... I'm use to it by now... just sign in every time I log on that's all.

I have the same problem. I noticed it was after my Roger's Hi Speed Internet was installed. I called them and no help. I changed a bunch of setting with regards to cookies etc, and still nothing. A couple of other sites I visit also don't remember the my usernames. I'm thinking of hiring one of those "Nerds on Wheels" services to see if they can figure it out. For now, I just enter the username and passwords.

Now it times me out as well...

I think it must be on my end though. None of this stuff ever happened before they did a software or sytems upgrade on my computer a few week's ago.

wtf am I talking about?

Well like I said before tried all the suggestions here and then some. I still have to log in every time I come on-line.

Now also though I noticed it's timing out on me. Often times I'll log on. Then I get busy on the phone or doing other stuff so TERB is just there in the background... have not logged out or anything... but when I come back to it... I have to log-in again. Dang IT guys... stay away from my puter!

But that is my good friend TheNiteHwk you cannot do that!!!!

What I need to know is why I have been given elevated status. Every time I look at the computer I see Fred Zed staring out of the screen at me, smiling. I do not need to even sign on any more, his eyes follow me round my room. I can go onto any thread at any time. I am a God mmmmmmmm:;)

When the power goes out everyone will soon forget TheNiteHwk and lament the loss of TERB with a great wailing and gnashing of teeth !

It's been good to know ya
I think Terb may only remember you one one pc. Since I have been using this pc again as mine is away once more it will not remember me on this pc no matter what I do. I guess I will just have to wait till I get mine back again. que sera sera
