Great move by them, they'll make that money up in revenue he brings in, they can't lose, they've become an invisible team, this at least makes them visible.

This team has treaded water for years, isn't there no guarenteed contracts in the nfl, they'll cut him if they have to.

For me, all this does is make the Bills unbettable. With a cancer plagued player like TO you never know. He is locker room poison but every once in a while, the sun shines on the dogs' ass and he'll have a great game. Most likely a game I need on a parlay. lol

So, TO might buy them an extra 3 wins over the course of the year and this will tighten up some spreads.

Great signing by the Bills, they have nothing to lose. They needed a move like this to sell tickets, you should go on the Bills message boards, the fans are going nuts all going to buy seasons tickets, before this they were trashing the Bills saying they weren't doing anything in free agency and were going to give up their seasons tickets so from purely a financial standpoint ticket sales will pay for the contract. Also i think TO will have a lot to prove and a 1 year deal is good for the Bills. At least it will cause some excitement as a Bills fan rather than another boring 7-9 season with Boring Dick Jauron at the helm.
Excellent post:) .

This is the only sensible reason, the Bills need to fill up the seats and they are gambling their $6.5 investment pays off, best of luck, I hope he pulls it off but based on his history it's doubtful. I give the Bills props for having the guts, but if it doesn't work out, it's going to get ugly.

a 2 year contract. you really think tony homo will win a bowl? come on. money is the motivation of all.
You need to remove T.Os dick out of your mouth before speaking? T.O's spiel might be an act, but I doubt it. Regardless, that type of behaviour is self destructive, and in team
sports, it has a major impact on his teammates..
T.O's "act" makes him look like the homo. I have a theory that T.O really wants to come out of the closet, but can't bring himself to do it.

IMHO, the signing of T.O. is a good move by the Bills:) . The Bills are just a mediocre team anyway. At least T.O. will add a little bit of controversy to the situation---lol. The Bills really had nothing to lose by signing T.O!
T.O is a monster on the football, and a monster off the field as well. I tend to agree because it creates some buzz in Buffalo again.

Someone mentioned that this was the best signing since Jim Kelly?? That is stretching it alot, but I think it will be an important signing. A one year deal is just right for this guy...

What are they teaching kids in high school these days!!!! Ask your mom to help you read my post again, there was no hate for T.O in my words. As far as the homo comment, you brought it up. Since T.O. spouted off about Garcia, I have questioned whether T.O. is gay.

Now lets talk about something important, the lack of quality education in our schools. If you can't even read, how the hell did you make it into high school???

This move is a big splash, no doubt about it. T.O. will put up big numbers that is gimme... However, in a year or two, they will be no better off having T.O in their line up. Instead they will probably have a divided locker room and no team chemistry.

If the Bills win the Superbowl in this year, feel free to gloat as much as you want.

Back to those English classes for you junior. Let's look at what I said..
That is stretching it alot, but I think it will be an important signing

If you refer to the above quote, there is an implication (look up the word "infer" while you are at it) that it is too early to declare the signing to be the best since Kelly.

In your first quote, you did not exempt (drafts) from your declaration of the best move, now you dropped that one into the equation so you could back track..

Trent may live to regret this, but good for him.

Given the way that things have ended with T.O's last 3 teams, and their QBs I would not take the chance...

Jim Kelly was mentioned in an earlier post. Now there is a QB who would have put TO in his place. He was the leader of that team and there would be no bullshit from TO in the huddle or on the sidelines and definitely no comments or suggestions about Kelly's personal life.

I think we've seen everything there is when it comes to TO. Fool me once, shame on you - fool me twice (or more, in this case), shame on me.

He'll do fine with the Bills until they stop getting him the ball - because he's using this opportunity as an audition for one more big contract.

However, problems will arise - even if the Bills are undefeated (HA!) - if Owens doesn't "gets his." Trent Edwards, Turk Schonert and Dick Jauron love the move now, and rightfully so, because Terrell Owens IS that damn good when he plays the game. Mark my words, the minute Lee Evans or others start getting more catches or touchdown receptions than TO, the proverbial shit will hit the proverbial fan. And there is NO ONE on the Bills team who has the gravitas to stand up to him.

Can you imagine being a quarterback and having to lock onto one receiver all the time for fear of dividing the locker room? (and I'll give TO "credit", he always finds allies within every team he's on.) It's no way to run an offence or a franchise.

It doesn't matter who the coach or quarterback is, Owens appears to have deep-seeded psychological issues - victim complex, never accepts responsibility, blames others, always tries to find the "bad guy" on his own team - the list is seemingly endless. If Bill Parcells and Andy Reid couldn't keep this guy in line, no one can (or could, if we're including Jim Kelly, who I have all the respect in the world for.) Rince and repeat - TO is like "Groundhog Day."

Think of the 2009 Bills as a weird science experiment. It could be really cool or it could blow up.

Hey, call it speculation, but how about the fact that the team has collapsed the last two years and finished 7-9? Tough-minded teams with strong leadership generally don't do that.

Or how about that Edwards is inexperienced guy who's never won at any level. Or that Jauron has had one winning season as a head coach.

Just sayin'.

Let me ask you this: who on the Bills is a strong, respected winner that a meglomaniac like T.O. would respect?

I don't know for sure as i have never been in the Bills dressing room, that's why i don't make blanket statements that i have no idea are true. But as a Bills fan a couple that i think are possibilities that i think are leaders in the dressing room are Donte Whitner and Marcus Stroud.
