some guys can't call because of questions at home when their mobile bill arrives. What are your views on subject?

Texting is so much easier. My office walls are thin and it is awkward to go somewhere isolated during coffee breaks. As you stated bullboy, calls leave phone numbers that can be searched online, while text messages - at least on my bills - just state when text were sent or received with no numbers displayed.

I do not own a cell phone, so some gals are losing my business!m but on the other hand, Native Princess is a moron and called my house after being left a message TO NOT call my nuber as I knew it would show up on her phone...guess who answered my line....and guess what idiot SP says, "Oh, someone just called me from this number about an appointment!"

Now that's a ringing endorsement for Native Princess.

Maybe arranging dates with escorts from your home phone is not your best option.

Have you ever considered online billing? That way the bill is password protected and nosy wives can't read it.

Online billing does make it harder for them to view the bill, but what if they ask for the pdf file. It would seem suspicious to delete pages from said file or to even tell them they cannot see it.

yup...the only true viable option is to petition Bell to bring back payphones and have them installed at every single corner with a change machine.

Maybe if that does not work, SP's can decide on a particular radio channel and we can all get CB's..."Breaker, Breaker, any shakers out here this evening!"

This is slightlty off topic but I was just thinking how video chat could make B&S and TOFTT obsolete a little more lol

And why the fuck would she ask to see a bill that isn't hers? Is she going to pay it?

Does anyone here have a wife that would make you log in to a website or email and open up the bill for her to inspect? That's a bigger problem.

And what if she asks to see the phone itself so she can see all these text messages? A woman that suspicious would certainly become alarmed if those were deleted from the phone. Better keep that phone secure and password-protected.

There are always Pay as you go phones.

i've seen it mentioned elsewhere but not on this thread - buy a pay as you go 'throw away' phone - i believe '7 11's have them - there is no bill - just don't let the phone be found!
- also useful if you normally block your number (like when calling native princess!) - no need to block the number - can now call all those SPs that wont take blocked numbers

I often prefer to break the ice with a message because it feels more comfortable that way.

Not just that, if it's a busy assembly-line shop where the girls answer their own phones, you're likely to interrupt them with a client if you phone.

It's not always an option. Sometimes the number doesn't accept text messages.

WHY do we ALL need a cell phone...they are a ridiculous waste of fucking money...I see ALOT of idiots killing/hurting people/things becuase they think its fine to drive and text/call someone...I see alot more idiots want these things and have to have the newest and latest greatest one while their kids have no money for activities...I see more and more the soon to be completely lost simple art of conversation while I sit at a table of 9 people at work and not 1 person will talk, as they are too fucking consumed to look into a 5" screen...I see more and more people losing their jobs as they are addicted to these stupid things at work and rather check texts than work. This technology has become a complete distraction. I cannot wait for the day for this craze to lose its lock on society...Maybe then we call all get along...

I, sir, am one of the last remaining that will NEVER own one of these things...I am Optimus Primal-phone!

Texting rock for varios reasons, privacy being the prime.

"connected"...your handle and thought go together very well. If you are so against cell phones, may be you should also look at how banks screw us, how governments screw us, and the endless list. Oh not to mention the big corporations.

Did not mean to hijack the thread....just my $0.02.

well put, sauga!!

banks, gov and big corps???? where in the fuck does one get that from a cell phone?????

its people that are moronic with the use of the technology....the same as idiots who are diagnosed with lung cancer from smoking for X number of years...no one is forcing you, but people eat it up...

I am one of the very few who does not participate in the bullshit of supporting these companies like Bell, etc with ridiculous over-inflated prices on packages either. Simple is for me.
And my name means nothing of a cell phone bozo....more of a god-father like association to certain things.
