Canada does NOT allow for immigration based on marriage. Marriage does not grant citizenship, landed immigration status or even an visa.

Can you teel me more about the laws re marrying someone from another country to bring to Canada. If you marry in their country are they allowed to come back to Canada to live. I might have a situation myslef . Please any info would be appreciated. P.M. IS OK or public

If a women agrees to pay $25,000 to get into Canada and work long hard hours with lots of restrictions a "slave"? Like the Russian situation.

Most are very happy to be slaves and once paid their debt free in Canada to have a far better life then they would ever have at home. Often sending a lot of money to support family back home.

Is this slavery? I don't think so and that is the common situation with the Russian and Asian "trafficking". They know its for being a prostitute, they agree to the terms just like the Thai lady would.

We at least know with the Russian situation it is not nearly as bad as lots of folks were concerned about in the past.
