Con - Thailand is currently experiencing some serious flooding problems. Bangkok is, for the most part, dry for now.
Pro - The "industry" in Thailand is well established with tons of information available online.

Thailand is much better place to go for vacation & just have fun. They have everything from bars to historical sites to visit.
Phillipines are a hole, 3rd world ghetto where every woman on the street wants to marry you to emigrate. Cities are awful but they do have some nice beaches.

I would be very interested in hearing about your experience in Manila. Any tips would be most appreciated.
Althought Pattaya might have more there is still lots of action in Phuket as well!
What would you like to know? I'm on most of the P4P boards and did extensive research before my trip. Spent 4 days/nights in Manila/Makati, fished the hot spots such as MBC/LA Cafe, EDSA, and Burgos. Not Makati/Greenbelt because I felt that that was a bit too rich for me. Save that for another trip if possible.

How can you tell if you've never been to Thailand?
Do not travel alone, specially if you can't blend in (e.g. Caucasian or African American).
In the Philippines, I find it that most foreigners are targeted by scammers (a local friend comes in handy) or worst, getting kidnapped. I don't know about thailand regarding this. If you want to hit the beaches, Philippines is top class. Hobbying, not so much, but if you hit the clubs...your chances of snagging some local pussy is above 70% (specially if you're a foreigner) But like someone said, most ladies tend to be "in love" and want to go home with you. Thailand is on my TDL. the only thing that's holding me up is that someone told me lots of trannys patrol the scenes and you can't even tell who's legit and who's not.

I've never been to the Philippines, generally I'm not into most filipino women, but I've travelled all across Thailand and have a lot of experiences from nightlife to sex tourism. In terms of Nightlife/bars etc. Stick to the Southern region, Bangkok, Pattaya and to the West Phuket. Beaches are great at the East ends (lots of private/exotic Islands), Phuket is a huge Beach area thats to the West, just stay clear of Monsoon season since they get hit hard. For Sex tourism, the Bangkok is where all amateurs go... mainly at Soi Cowboy (tiny street strip filled with SCs and Bars), at Soi cowboy and the side streets nearby have many street girls that flood the streets at night (10PM-5AM). Pattaya has a higher overall concentration of SPs and are the cheapest I've heard of, but the girls are really nasty and low quality there. Girls in Bangkok are also quite gross and charge the 2nd most in Thailand, first being Phuket (which is grossly overpriced for what you get). I'll give away a hidden jem in Thailand, skip the Southern regions all together and head North to Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai (city), the party scene is a lot cleaner, the cities are a lot cleaner, and the girls are extremely HOTTER!!! They are a little harder to find, but just contact any Tuk tuk driver or the Hotel you're staying at and they guide you in the right direction. The prices are a bit cheaper in Chiang Mai as well, while the quality of the girls go through the roof! Best sex tourist site I've been to, hands down! As a bonus, accommodations and food there are better then Bangkok as well.
If you're going to the Philippines, avoid Manila unless you have a lot of money. Head up to Angeles City. The club district rocks and is filled with ex-pats who will give you all the help and information you'll need.

Just google the city and learn how little the bar fines are to "fall in love" every night in a different club.
If you're a boob lover, Manila has it all over AC. I found there were lots of girls in AC, but I wouldn't touch the majority of them. The first girl I had in Manila had the best rack I've seen in 47 years, bar none. Manila definitely is more expensive than AC, though. Filipinas tend to be more GFE. Never been to Thailand, but I had no issue traveling alone. One thing though: it's true to beware a single Filipino who comes up to you on the street wanting to help you out with anything.
