This Jays manger needs a kick in the ass out the door. Santander and Springer are not producing rbi’s but they are hitting 3 and 4 wasting opportunities. Shake up the order here
Scheduled maintenance day for Varsho's shoulder, since he had surgery on it last Sept. Why the fuck is Varsho sitting on the bench today? This manager is a fuckn’ idiot
He needs a few days off. And Vlady can hit thirdSantander needs to hit 6 or 7 maybe he'll come around hitting lower in the line-up.
Through May 15:Cody Bellinger watch now that we have passed the quarter way mark.
.229, OPS .688
OPS+ of 94
on pace for 18 HR's.
Not sure how management is still around after last year and all their mistakes. But at least they didn't give this guy a 5+ year deal in the winter of 2023. Would have been a disaster.
It only took him 11 games to lead the team.Varsho: 6 HRs in 11 games= .54 HR/games played
if he played the remaining 117 games this season-64 HRS
if he played 162 games this season- 88 HRs
We don't forget...Having said that all of the Yankees off season acquisitions have met or exceeded expectations thus far. So it looks like the Yankees ended up okay.Since there is no longer a Yankee thread I posted this item here. I laughed so hard when I saw this on the nightly sports report.

Cody Bellinger reads TERB and I motivated him. He went on a heater the next 5 games. (10-19, ,526 AVG, 3HR's)Cody Bellinger watch now that we have passed the quarter way mark.

Entertaining thrilling suspenseful win!The Blue Jays sweep the Padres with an 11 inning 7-6 win. Hoffman hasn't been the best lately.
The bad news isHoffman started the year very well but has blown 3 of his past 6 save chances. And now sports a 6.10 ERA. Hopefully a blip in the radar.
The good new is the Jays are over .500 and they've started hitting.
The bad news is they have played 28 home games and only 21 road games.
