Guerrero has been in play off form....doing nothing to help. And Shneider just keeps batting him 3rd,,,,should be dropped to 8th or bench. Glad to see the rest of them going well and lets hope they get the division. Do not want to play Boston in short series

Down to the last game tomorrow! Doesn't get anymore exciting and nerve racking than this.
Vladdy looks totally fucking lost! Don't know why he hasn't figured out his swing by now, in this day and age, all kinds of video of himself to watch to see what he's doing wrong.
15 years 500 million or whatever it is. I would not have resigned him. If Bitchette could stay healthy i would have signed him long term

As a Yankee fan this is very exciting...Looking at the pitching matchups tomorrow I would favor the Jays.

Gausman is very dependable. The Yanks have Gill going. Gill is coming off TJ surgery last year. His return has gone well but he doesn't have the control and k power that he used to have. He's been fortunate to have gotten through some of his outings. I'm thinking his smoke and mirror show will end soon.

Head to head the Yankees have fared rather poorly against both the Jays and the Red Sox this year.
Red Sox starting pitching has me worried. I had written them off earlier this year but since they cut loose with Devers they've taken off. I was wrong about them I admit.

It doesn't work that way, schneider would love to but the khakis call the shots. Doing that makes them bad for signing him to that absurd contract.

That signing should cost them both their jobs unless they can unload him to antho who adores his former players. I think he was the one that originally signed guerrero back in 2015 as a teenager.

Starters are irrelevant in both games tomorrow. The first sign of trouble they'll be yanked, gausman may have a longer leash because of his track record but Boone will pull gill immediately. He'll practically be waiting by the foul line.

According to Sho Alli from Sportsnet the Fan 590, the Baltimore Orioles will field their top lineup against the (boo, hiss) Yanks. Conversely, Tampa Bay will field a line up without several of their regulars against our Blue Jays. I think he said Tampa's line up will have 7 left handed batters.
Santander hitting clean up today.

He is off balance and you will not

Bo is an interesting story. He refused fat contract thinking he can get more in FA and now he is injured. Unless he plays well in post season his valued has dropped....... but .... from Bo's POV should he come back prematurely? What if he reinjures himself and destroys his value? Athletes have to think of themselves ahead of the team when it comes to destroying their career.

The bigger reason to re-sign with your club instead of becoming a FA is injury

Solid hit by Vlad then first Captain Kirk grandslammer
These are our two hitting stars that were in slump
Game is ours to lose with our best pitcher on the mound and all relievers available and that includes some starters as this is all in game to win

Santander strikes out yet again like WTF?? Santander playing instead of Lukes????
If a right hand reliever comes in replace Santander with Lukes immediately. Even though Lukes bats left and the starter for Tampa is a lefty Santander playing is dumb. I hope they do not take him to the playoffs like WTF????
