The Apprentice Season 2

it's like every week as the task goes on the team seems to try and set the team leader up to be screwed........pretty well every one who has been canned has been a team leader.........

What I find fascinating is the total lack of comprehension by the firee's in their last 15 seconds of fame in the cab. Elizabeth still seemed to think that she was decisive and both Stacey's before her thought it was totally everyone else's doing.

I wonder what they think when they watch the show and see how all the footage was edited to highlight the process and the reason for the conclusion that bought them the cab ride.

I agree that Elizabeth should have been more decisive and should have been the one to go. PM's have to make a decision and not just go along with everybody. If you believe it, then fight for it.

But why was Raj so intent on creating a military themed campaign when Deutsh told them to keep it heartfelt and "soft". I think Elizabeth wanted to go there but the team wouldn't allow it.

Although I agree Elizabeth was probably the right one to be fired, I do think she did get hosed a little bit. Her instincts were right (not liking the militaristic campaign), but she didn't argue her case effectively, nor did it appear she offered any viable alternatives. But I also think she never had the respect of her team and that they were out to get her from the get-go, and I don't think that was fair either.

I was feeling a little sorry for Andy at the beginning of the show... he seemed so unpopular and none of the big kids liked him. I thought he did a good job with the task, even though once again, I think his teammates were trying to undermine him.

I also thought this week's task was very interesting, as well as very difficult. I have worked on plenty of advertising campaigns, and believe me, they are hard to do well. That each team was able to pull together anything resembling something coherent in the time frame they had is actually quite a feat.

BTW, is anyone else getting tired of Maria telling the camera that she is ideal for the week's task? She was ideal for the women's fashion task because her mother taught home economics. She was ideal for this week's task because she has a lot of experience in marketing and advertising. She was ideal for the QVC task because she is a specalist in marketing communications. I haven't seen this broad do anything remotely useful yet on the show.

I agree, she could have done a much better job, given her credentials!

Raj made it longer than he should have in my opinion. He was just a personality with no business sense whatsoever. Raj is a wannabe playboy to boot. Never did he ever succeed with any of his flirtatious advances during the show. Anyway im glad to see him go. He was a supposed "real estate expert" who turned a 4 bedroom house into a 3 bedroom house. Duh. and didnt even use that space for an extra bathroom or anything useful. Just made one bedroom bigger. TOOL!

I was actually surprised the Donald didn't 'break the rules' again and fire Chris right there. He disappointed me tonight.

Trump must be savouring the moment when he says the words: "Ivana, you are fired". I am amazed he has been able to restrain himself so long.

IMO trump should have kept Raj, just because he took responsibility for the loss, which no other team leader has done before.

Trump's totally irrational. Sometimes he picks the person who deserves it, sometimes he picks whoever ticks him off, sometimes he just seems to pick whoever.

I think this show has lost its sheen...
