Although I agree Elizabeth was probably the right one to be fired, I do think she did get hosed a little bit. Her instincts were right (not liking the militaristic campaign), but she didn't argue her case effectively, nor did it appear she offered any viable alternatives. But I also think she never had the respect of her team and that they were out to get her from the get-go, and I don't think that was fair either.
I was feeling a little sorry for Andy at the beginning of the show... he seemed so unpopular and none of the big kids liked him. I thought he did a good job with the task, even though once again, I think his teammates were trying to undermine him.
I also thought this week's task was very interesting, as well as very difficult. I have worked on plenty of advertising campaigns, and believe me, they are hard to do well. That each team was able to pull together anything resembling something coherent in the time frame they had is actually quite a feat.
BTW, is anyone else getting tired of Maria telling the camera that she is ideal for the week's task? She was ideal for the women's fashion task because her mother taught home economics. She was ideal for this week's task because she has a lot of experience in marketing and advertising. She was ideal for the QVC task because she is a specalist in marketing communications. I haven't seen this broad do anything remotely useful yet on the show.
