Tattoos and IQ.....

In answer to RemyMartin who is wondering if the number of tattoos found on a male body would be inversely proportional to IQ, I would guess that if such a correlation does exist, it would be equal for both sexes. The issue of males and tattoos were not adressed in the thread so I only commented on females. Good point though..........

I've got tattoos, and plan on getting some removed so I can get another without using up further real estate. Why? Because I like them, I plan them intelligently, and life it too short to give a flying goddamn what some cranky guys out of the 2.5 billion currently aboard the planet think about something as trivial as tattoos.

Incidently, my most favourite thing ever is when some fool tells me how tattoos were cool like, years ago, before everybody had them, but now, anybody with a tattoo is some fashion slave.

Really? Cause I got mine a long time ago. Guess that makes you a chump with his foot in his damn mouth now, don't it? Stupid logic!

That and, the "I can't figure out why any SP would 'destroy her body' with ink" horseshit. Guess a lot of people can't figure out why any woman would be an SP either. Guess it's damn lucky for you there's ladies that didn't listen to any of the stick-up-the-butt-crowd...or we wouldn't be looking past your beer-guts and weed-whacker-worthy back hedges, taking your money, and doing our level best at treating you like the decent human being you most likely are while we're at it.

Oh shit...did I say that out loud?

I'll add my voice to the chorus of negatives. I really don't understand why some women insist on permanently scarring an otherwise beautiful body. I don't even really like tats on SPs.

Guess I'm just too much of a purist ...

But, what about spanking a bottom and making it temporarily red?

Ass antlers - defined

stacey4u2luv said:

Ass Antlers is a term for tribal tattoo located on the lower back. This is usually, but not always, centered around or extending from a tattoo of a rose, butterfly, or dolphin.
The term was invented last Thursday by a German tattoo artist who now lives in the United States.

Also referred to as:
- The Moneyshot
- Tramp Stamp
- Pull-out Target
- Cum catcher

I like the part where it says that the Ass antler tattoo “is usually, but not always, centered around or extending from a tattoo of a rose, butterfly, or dolphin”. This is so true in regards to women who have those types of tattoos. If I had a dollar for every girl that I know who has a tat’ of a rose, butterfly, or dolphin…..LMFAO

I have a number of tattoos. No piercings and one branding on my neck (covered by my now long hair) I regret none. I got mine during moments of celebration, trauma,or just because. Each one marks a distinct moment in my life. Even when I retired, got married and had a baby (baby's hand print and DOB) I don't do it for anyone else. Only me and my husband see most of them, the other more noticeable ones I could'nt care less who sees. I have found that those who have a distaste for tattoos are likely not the kind of company I prefer to keep anyhow. I must admit I do have the ever known butterfly on the tailbone but i had mine 10 yrs ago, I have alot of indian art, some chinese, and even some religous. Mostly pin up and sailor stuff as that is what I like (pirate ship, stars, sexy killer mermaid) I plan to get more. For me it's a release.......tattoos DO NOT tickle, and no matter how much my heart aches or my mind hurts.....that tattoo will likely hurt more. I am not goth. I am not punk. I do not look trashy at all. I look like me, and I enjoy the things I enjoy.

ps RE removal. When I get an idea i usually get a temp tattoo and live with the idea of it for a bit. ESPECIALLY myy large pieces. it has saved me alot of time and money I must admit. I do not have a single drop of ink I would ever consider removing.....oh and my hubby, ONE tattoo, my real name on is shoulder (and his on mine)

Its clear from some of the posts, that most posting dont get it. Like anything else in life there are bad tattoo artists and people make mistakes on the design and the positioning.

The correct design, a good artist and the the proper positioning is a must.

If you have been thru the process u understand the why, otherwise u wont be able to get it or appreciate it.

Piercings are the same. Personally there is only one i dont like and that is the lip..somehow it makes the lip look swollen...otherwise, luv 'em all.

A lot of you might be very surprised how many professional men and women have them, but u would never know unless u get to see them naked or in a swimsuit. Oh and when i say professional i dont mean those people engaged in the sex trade!

cheers

I notice that the vast magority of the posts are men opposed to tatoos on women and women defending the body art they enjoy. It is always the same on this Board; the menfolk want to control the appearence of the womenfolk. It's not universal but its fairly constant; you would think that men would learn, women will do what they want, a man's opinion counts for nothing.
How do you explain anorexia and bulimia then?

Try reading to the end of the sentence.
Enduring the pain, the major discomfort for days after, and the cost of getting a tattoo only to have it removed later to get another one is planning intelligently? I guess we have a different definition of intelligence.

Both these conditions are very much about self image. If you have ever known a woman (I have know several) with anorexia or bulimia you will know that no matter how beautiful she is, she sees herself as fat and ugly. And nothing anybody says will convince her otherwise.

I guess, in the end, body art is a fairly personal thing. Even if it is on display for all to see. If a woman wears it well, it will enhance her appearance. If, by constantly inking herself she tries to 'cover up' some self perception of not being beautiful, this will also show.

As for linking tats to intelligence. Well, thats just boneheaded if you ask me. Being 'a mover & a shaker' requires that you be a certain personality type and ambitious. This often has little to do with a person's innate intelligence. Take that same intelligence test and give it to MP's or congressmen/women. I wonder what the results would be.

This is so funny especially when you were telling me how ¨damn selective¨ you are in another thread.

Tattoos aren't a "craze". They've been in popular culture for over 10 years now. They've become a social norm amongst the young. Which is probably why the "old" can't stand it. ;)

Tattoos aren't going anywhere. If anything, they're more popular than ever. So better get used to it.

Everything goes in cycles, so I suspect that tattooing is going to take a break soon because the new young people don't want to be associated with the 30 and 40 somethings.

The only problem is that unlike Birkenstocks, DocMartins, Mid-Riff shirts, buzz cuts this craze is not that easy to reverse.

Basic English...plural forms mean one is speaking about a collective of persons rather than an individual.

You just don't get it, do you? I'm SELECTIVE about personality, about how someone comes across to me in an email or phone call. I have never turned away anyone because of how they look - and how would I anyways? You think I ask for a picture before I do an outcall? - but I walked out on a guy who wadded up and threw a $20 bill at a cabbie, and another who pushed my very minimal rules during a session. Men come with guts and back-hair. Some ladies don't dig that, but I don't care...it's what kind of a person they are.

And if they're a prancing dipshit...well sugar, you and I won't be hooking up anytime soon, now will we?

Ok, I take that last bit back Mr. S...I'm having a cranky day.
