Finally a lucid thought...

On the subject of NDE. Is it not possible that ppl see what they expect to see?

With so many different beliefs in the world, is it not possible that ppl go to whatever afterlife they believe in?

If you believe nothing, then expect nothing in the afterlife. If you have something to look forward to, and believe in it with all your being, then is it not possible that you will get exactly that?

No possible convincing argument there. BW, I believe, saw exactly what she said, as did the one who began the thread.

Yes, that is very possible, but that argument was never put forward by BW. If one believes there is an afterlife, or believes in God, then perhaps that's how it works? I really don't know, but there has been nothing to lead me to believe that to be true, in fact the contrary. But that's just my experience and opinion.

Same as body parts, only experience can give you even the remotest idea of what it's like.
If you read about others NDE's you'll find that religion has much to do with the experience. The beliefs that one holds.
It is simply not possible to explain what one feels within adiquitly to give another a sense of that feeling, unless thay have had similar experience.

Just asked questions and made statements in a fair and logical fashion. If you weren't so hot to fight with someone you would have seen the logic there and possibly had something intelligent to say on the subject instead of making a lame attempt at insult.

IO read these forums for a few days. Not real heavy on the intelligence. Most subjects are babbling, and the ones that are interesting, get swept away to archive land.

I have said that I believe her to be intelligent, the honorable part I'm not so sure of, but intelligent, yes. My problem lies not with her intelligence, but with her tact, or lack thereof. And you are right, you would support a friend, or you wouldn't be much of a friend. I'm quite bored with her, and if you are not her, you do seem to be a tad more level headed for the most part, except when you are saying people on this board aren't intelligent at all.
