The Gift list that gives back: Why I love escort Amazon wishlists

Perhaps a controversial topic: The gift wishlist.

Some people look down on it. Some people love it. "Gift giving" is one of the many love languages which is why some of us love the opportunity to spoil that special someone. Plus it's not simply altruistic: Many providers remember who gave them a gift and then either intentionally or subconsciously ensure you feel their gratitude later. But that's not the reason I'm posting this. No, I love wishlists because they're full of amazing products I want to buy for myself!!

Not the Gucci handbag or the lipsticks. If you're into that, good for you. I'm talking about the gaming tech, the home and bathroom decor, the cute soap dispenser, the workout equipment, the art supplies... items that highly desired escorts desire for themselves. It's like Amazon's own algorithmically generated recommendations but better because they're curated by women whose personalities I know and like.

My recommendation: Next time you see an escort with an Amazon wishlist go check it out even if you have no plans on buying anything for them. You might be surprised at all the cool gift ideas for you or for that special someone in your life.

I always like to look at woman's wishlist. Gives an insight into their lifestyle and wants, and is kind of like voyeurism
I look at my peers’ wishlists too, it’s interesting sometimes to see what other people like. I also want to know if I’m too ambitious with my wishlists

Ditto.
When I worked downtown, I usually just called the agency, “who available tonight”. Then make a booking for after a work function. That was a box of chocolates. Signal to noise was about 50/50

Then for sometime pics on agency sites, reviews. I pay particular attention to any that participate here. It’s a minefield for them. That alone says something. How they navigate it, says even more.

I take the time to actually read profiles, especially Indy’s. Gifts and wishlists. With indies I will poke around each section of their sites. Signal to noise improved.

the last year, I’ve learned to be patient, do as much research as I can. Twitter by far is my go to, typically it can be weeks or months before I know “yes I will book when I can”, or nope going to pass. Books they read, music, humour, pets, food, all kind of tidbits that help reveal who they are. Love when they post pics from home, What’s in the background can reveal more too. Something learned as a professional photographer. Signal to noise the last year about as high as I think I can get it. It’s high.

Some might call it voyierism, or creeping. I call it due diligence, putting as much in as I hope to get out.

Everyone has different tastes so the wishlist idea is great so you won't do a hit and miss purchase. What I hate are seeing the non-Amazon wishlists that every item is over $5k. Now, that's just bogus . . Maybe I'm wrong and that particular SP is just filtering out her findom clients. . .

My favourite quote from an escort when told $5000/hour was a lot of money:
"Honey, I'm not used to being around men who think $5K is a lot of money."
(Edit: I heard this quote in an interview. I wasn't part of the conversation.)

lol I love it. Stack that cash, gurl. Way out of my budget but if you can score it, go for it. Same with wishlists. If someone looks at a $5000 gift the way I look at a $50 gift because they make $$millions each year and I don't, hot damn more power to 'em. Wish I could ask for a job at their office!!

Personally, if I’m going to give something. It’s going to be something I know they will appreciate.

I don’t do Valentine’s Day. Never have, never will. It led to a huge fight once with my Ex. All her co-workers were receiving flowers, chocolates, amazing dinner plans. They were all “showing” off. My ex was jealous and down. She tried to talk to me about it. I listened as I always do. Then said. I understand, but did you ask them what their hubbys do the other 364 days a year………

I like to get to know SPs as much as they are comfortable. Anyone can read a gift list, not everyone will know X ( might require some thought) say a book from a favourite author just as an example.

A single truffle out of the blue, trumps a bed of roses on Valentines Day.

I have a few of the very early issues of Viva magazine, from 1974-75. It was published by Bob Guccione, and intended to be like 'Penthouse for women'. These issues, if they can be found for sale online at all, usually cost around $100 USD, including shipping, on eBay:

Supposedly, gay men covet the early issues, and any that go on sale are usually snatched quickly. . I bring gifts like that; something that cost very little to me, but has a higher intrinsic value. A custom burned audio CD has also been well received.

I make computer fonts and graphics for custom T-shirts as a hobby. I have limited rights to an amazing drawing of Betty Boop's head which is not subject to copyright laws. I can make T-shirts from the image, but I'm not allowed to sell them; I can only give them away as gifts, or trade them in a barter arrangement.

The reason why the image below is not subject to copyright law is that it was created from a scan of an original drawing by Grim Natwick, given as a gift to Reg Hartt. Grim was 90 years old when he drew it. Grim also invented Betty Boop, for the 1930 Fleischer cartoon Dizzy Dishes.

I converted the image to vector format, for the purpose of making multi-coloured women's T-shirts. The fill colour for the ear rings and text is gold. The lips and text are red. The whites of Betty's eyes is a printed colour, and the rest of her face is printed black. The hair colour and the colour of the shirts is variable; ideally both would be close to a match with the hair colour and skin tone of the woman wearing the shirt.

The caption is meant to temporarily confuse some men, because they're not sure whether they should look at the woman's eyes, or Betty's:

Shirts with five different printed colours will probably cost me about $25 each, for a minimum order of 25 shirts. I need to make decisions about shirt styles, sizes, and the shirt and hair colours. I'll only be making the one batch, because most of the manufacturing cost is for the multi-coloured screen, and it gets reused after the print job is complete. I think a custom made shirt which cannot be purchased anywhere would be something a whole lot of women would like to receive.

Reading some of the responses to this thread, I'm going to put forward usual question I do whenever topics like this come up, how is how other clients choose to spend their money any of your fucking business?

I've bought ladies I see gifts and items off their Amazon wishlist.

I had a client bring me some fishing lures and a package of worms that I always use. Was the best!

Arguably that is the primary reason for being a member of an Escort review board.

Aside from that obvious reply :).

I was taken aback thinking. I don’t recall any comment/reply where someone stated their preference ( mine isn’t lavish “gifts” or items from a gift list. Though I do refer to them. I prefer something more personal) and the reply was some kind of an attack on the poster…

Thought for sure I missed something…nope.
that is what I call a truffle out of the Blue. Totally unexpected. :)

SexB what you prefer or do. That’s for you to decide. But like you have your opinion/preference on the topic, so too does everyone else. And they are allowed to express it.

Dont count another man's money and dont pay attention to how another man spends his money. Honestly the subject of gifts on this forum brings up so many butt hurt members its not even funny.

Anyways however someone spends their money is their business.
I agree, but can you find a single point of reference where someone questioned or worse “redicules” how he chooses to? I looked and unless it’s been edited or deleted I didn’t see it……

The argument if you will is akin to some people saying I would not allow an Sp to use a vibrator on me. And those that do being um…butt hurt?
