Not really. When healthy, he actually put up fairly decent numbers (22 pts in 32 games) that pretty well matched his previous season with NY. So he didn't play any worse when he got to Toronto, pretty much what people expected of him at that point in his career. He was a fairly cheap pick up with a huge risk. Injuries were the cause of his disappointing season, definitely not his play on the ice.

You have a point on Leetch, even though I still don't think he was that great for Leafs. A definite upgrade to the PP where 11 of his 15 points came, I just don't think he improved their overall defense. But that's just my thoughts. What do I know, I am Bruins fan ......lol
