Well, here's a bit of a story.
I first began SP'ing in yahoo chat rooms. I had no idea about these review boards then. When i finally joined my very first review board, merb, a year later, one of my yahoo clients reviewed me. It was called a shill, of course, as he was a new member in that board and i was a new SP face, unknown to that, or any board, really.
Well, the positive reviews just kept pouring in one after the other and they hated it. You know?..."Who was this unknown T-girl getting all the great reviews?", type of thing.
So they, in that board, all started calling me really nasty names and criticized every review that came in because none of the regular members knew me.
At first, they tried saying i was some other Sp, also named Dahlia, who used to work the streets, and apparently she was not a good SP.
I never worked the streets!
Well after a year of continuous abuse on the board, some joker who never even met me, got a great idea and entered a very negative, false, and nasty review about me. I confronted him openly on the board and proved it to be a lie for all to see.
Well, the mod, decided to leave the false review in the thread, and i protested by demanding the "proved to be false" review, be removed. Of course, the mod just ignored me.
I guess, he figured, with all the horrible and really nasty comments (which he allowed to be left on the board) already made about me by people who never even met me, and seeing how they all hated this new girl who was being reviewed so positively, why not just let all the bashers now write nasty reviews about me, as well, seeing as they considered me a shill, anyway.
Well, I put a stop to it quickly enough by demanding that the entire review thread be deleted, and i opted for a "no review policy".
Of course, i only requested that after first copying and saving all my reviews, and then putting them all into my two websites which came later.
Again, he ignored my request, until i spammed his email repeatedly, calling him "a loser".
He finally deleted the thread, and then, i demanded that i be deleted completely from their bashfest board. I mean, what was the use being there?...i wasn't even allowed to post anywhere on the board, not even in the section i was part of, since i joined it. If i did post, i was warned not to.
I was forced to read the bashers' comments as they whipped me on a whipping post.
My review thread there, in only one year, before i quit, had just over 24 000 views, and was the third most read thread in that particular section.
And i was not even allowed to post for 10 -11 months JUST BECAUSE i received good reviews!
Once i was out of there, and a little while later, i joined terb and decided to just call myself, Dahlia from merb.
So, that's the meaning behind my username, dahliafrommerb.
And if that merb mod happens to reads this post, kindly allow me direct him to my middle finger which is pointing straight up in his face!

Well, i don't want to hijack this thread, here, but i don't really rely too much on review boards to host the reviews i receive, anymore. I ask all my clients to email me their reviews so i can post them into my two sites.
Besides, being a T-girl, 80% of my clients come from other sites, 10% come from yahoo still, and the other 10% are maybe some of the guys in terb, perb, and even merb, and are just too ashamed to admit it! No biggie, though.
It was very difficut for me to log in everyday and see all the old and new comments that were allowed to be left on that board - i used to log off in tears, and cry for hours, asking, God, "WHY?"
