Gwar - Scumdogs of the Universe

Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction

Prodigy - Fat of the Land

White Zombie - La Sexorcisto

Venom - Welcome to Hell
I must have listened to Scumdogs a thousand times in a row when I first got that album. I saw them in Toronto at the concert hall. Probably 1992. Still a good album. Forgot how much I liked it until just now.

Music Of My Mind, Stevie Wonder

It was my first Stevie Wonder Album. I had it on 8 track and played it continuously when I drove from Ottawa to Banff in 1975.

I had this album in my Discman as a kid and would listen to it over and over.

When I got a little older I started seeing them live in Montreal at Club Soda.
I've seen them three times (all before Dave Brockie passed away) and they are easily one of the best live shows out there.

Dave Brockie's death is the only musician's death I've ever truly mourned.

Because they are covers. I thought you were sarcastic
I wasn't. There are many covers that are head and shoulders above the original. All Along the Watchtower by Jimmy Hendrix, Hurt by Johnny Cash, The Ghost of Tom Joad by Rage Against the Machine...hell Walk off the Earth literally became famous because of their covers, their cover of Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO is by far their best imo. It takes an immense amount of talent and tact to take a song you didn't write and make it better than the original artist, Nirvana absolutely did that on their live album

I would add Tragic Kindom by No doubt and NoFX - So Long Thanks for all the shoes.

Does anybody really like Nirvana? I'm 50 and I remember when they blew up. I was not impressed then and I'm still not.

Oh well, whatever, never mind
