Oh it was all over the media about how he was going to get rid of the street cars. It was definatly a campaign promise. The thing about politicians is they count on citizens having short memories.

Lets see how he does with that lawsuit from the Boardwalk Cafe people next. Dollars to donuts he settles out of court and sweeps it under the rug.

Was it him saying it or was it his opponents. I could find no earlier reference to the supposed promises and as the explanation from his brother said it would be a dumb thing to promise and dumber to believe it. It would be quite wasteful. Getting rid of the streetcars as they get old is one thing and I agree with that, but ripping them up is totally different.

Here's his transit plan out lined in print. I couldn't find the reference, but maybe you can. If it was reported as you say, I'd question the veracity of the reports.

I have posted positive things about the police, and I have said in the past they are an essential part of our community... of course you chose to ignore that because it does not fit in with your simpleton hatred. The fact is, our police culture is in trouble, and yes ,my posts are strongly biased against police, but that is because there needs to be a counter view to start a debate. = Trolling

IMHO in that regard I am very pleased with the results. Considering the THOUSANDS of views my threads get and the same tired old usual suspects that show up to bash me to no avail I am EXTREMELY pleased with the results. = Manipulating the sheep to respond to his posts to increase views

Sure sometimes I make errors and mistakes...but that is rare...and I think it is clearly illustrated by how my usual opponents crow in unison on those RARE occasions when they claim one of their tiny insignificant points.= Delusional!

Quite amusing indeed.[/QUOTE] = The only accurate part of this post. Which by the way, is written very similarly to how our old friend tboy would speak.

Really? I haven't seen any, all I keep reading from you is the hatred you have for the police, unless of course you include your tboy posts, then I would agree with you. As I mentioned you always find the negative in even positive actions by the police, you must have worked for Sewell at some point.

Your humility is overwhelming, quite an ego you got there.

LMAO,

As with most threads, this one has gone off the rails too. The gravy train, G20, Rob Ford's promises and whatever else.
