Did the guy mention woke culture or wokeness at any point
in the video? If he did then I missed it.

The guy came across as a somewhat haughty techno-cornucopian.
He is probably a tad brighter than a typical climate sheeple.

You can't blame the architects of the climate change religion, they are doing it for their own benefit.

But the woke far left, the wokies, deserve much more blame for defending and spreading the doctrine.

Without them it would be difficult to control the message.

He mentions it right at the beginning to get some smug "you are all too emotional to think rationally" shots.
The rest is typical competitive debate style stuff.
I assume the rebuttal and counter arguments and whatever is just cut out.
(No idea if this guy was starting or answering or where in the sequence it all is. )

I love TRIGGERNometry, good show.

Is assuming the most people know the argument That recyclable boxes are not all we need to do.

He's wrong however Unless you assume he's only talking about what people would be willing to do.

We are headed to my exterminations worldwide. It started in Africa the people taking the boats to get to Europe. Has climate destroys traditional Farmland We shall see Extreme survival tactics.

My post was more on the show Triggernometry, not what the Russian was saying at what looks like Oxford.

However, if you want to be a Climate Change cheerleader and blame migration on a single factor...

For leaving Africa, it depends on what are the much bigger factor in driving people to leave their own countries and going to Europe.

It could be (1) Corruption, bad governance, over population, poor infrastructure, bad economy, no opportunities or....

(2) Climate Change.

I'd place good $ on the former, not the latter. Think in terms of probabilities, not default ideology.

If you are able to watch this -you are a black slave owner.
So much of what we enjoy in the First World comes off the backs of poor third world labor. We all know about factories in China and Mexico. Anyone know where 60% of our chocolate comes from?

Some of these cocoa workers have never tasted a chocolate bar before...

He is absolutely right. The western nations are so arrogant in what they think countries in Asia and Latin America should do. Forgetting the fact that it is them that have outsourced manufacturing to China, and then proceed to complain about China and emissions! If those products were being manufactured in our countries, our emissions would go up too!

Putin had something similar to say as well about Greta.

I also love this clip where Vijay Prashad, who is an Indian historian and commentator talks about climate justice.

Greta Thunberg can learn a thing or two from this guy.

Greta telling adults to develop advanced technologies
to save the climate will be more refreshing.

The consequence of winning or losing the debate on climate change
will be pretty much the same. The winners will continue burning more
and more fossil fuel. Like our climate-lunatic turned climate hypocrite
minister Steven Guilbeault who has offered something like $7 billion to oil
producers as incentive to offset emission when all he has to do is to exercise
restraint on giving out permits for exploration of deep water oil. On the other
side climate skeptics or deniers along with people in the developing world
would still not give a rat's ass to the imaginary impact of a 1.5 to 3 degree
Celsius rise of a bogus global temperature.

Actually what it takes world's leaders to save Earth is pretty
straightforward. Just regulate quantity of oil and gas imported
for energy importers and the growth of energy production for
exporters would get the job of emission reduction done. If I had
the power I would initiate constructions of strategic petroleum
storage caverns near the sites of oil sands production
with the capacity of holding tens of millions of barrels of oil
to be withdrawn from exports. In 3 decades we could easily
fetch a price of $500/barrel when the rest of the world is scrambling
to bid up prices of every drop of oil they can buy while burning
all the coal and forest woods they can lay their hands on.

You cannot fix the homeless problems in the cities . But you will change direction of climate in the future. The earth has gone through heat and cold cycles with zero human involvement . Yet people feel powerful enough to say we can change that . These people are extra special .

I'm sure the commissars at the CPO will be watch this one, lol.

He's up to 6.23 million subscribers on YouTube and climbing.
Yuh. Here's your boy, Doc Pee using his authority as a psychologist to talk horseshit about stuff he's not qualified to talk about. But we both know that he's going to deliberately get himself thrown out of the CPO - because he makes more $$$$ as a professional, free-lance bullshitter.

Ahhh.....That was refreshing to hear........The hive is going to get a buzzing now....
At least you've got a Jordan Peterson/ Tate replacement.
The faux elitist, tux wearing is a nice touch.

The best part is the guy talks about arguing facts instead of feelings but gets the basics so incredibly wrong.
