I think Newlyweds with Jessica Simpson and Nick Lacky is a better reality show. Jessica is a total ditz but still has a sweetness about her combined with Nick's character makes for an interesting show.

My favourite reality show is American Chopper, maybe its the bikes i like. I don't know but its interesting to see the character study between the participants involved. --- Kev

I thought both shows were way too funny. My favourite part was when Jessica was lying on the couch watching TV and she was being stalked by the big pile of laundry...the scary movie music playing in the background was comic genius.

I loved the Simple Life. My only regret is that they couldn't get Paris' sister to do it. I don't find Paris' friend to be hot at all...

I think this show would be much better on HBO, that way there would be no censorship of swearing, ass cracks, nudity and Nicole's crack habit.

I must say I dont find Paris to be that hot at all, she is a pinner and needs like 10 big macs, not just 2....she has no right to be famous whatsoever

Unfortunately there seems to be no shortage of people out there who have gained fame from doing absolutely nothing...well the sex video might qualify. The sad part is that our society is so devoid of any real culture, we flock to these reality shows either to try to relate to these people or to ridicule their sad existences.

I don't know if I blame the networks or the viewer's insatiable appetite for this dribble..

the best line in the show was regarding the can of tuna fish, i gyess the advertising called it chicken of the sea, so jessica exclaimed seriously "i didnt know chickens lived in the sea ??

IMO, Paris is putting on an act for the cameras. Don't get me wrong, she's definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer (rumour is she never got a HS diploma), but I believe her when she said in interviews that she was playing the character the producers wanted the audience to see: a dumb bimbo blonde from the big city, stuck in Hicksville USA. I don't buy the Wal-mart line or the well comment at all - I think she was just hamming for the camera (which she loves to do, re: amateur video). If she truly was the uber-spoiled brat she's pretending to be, she never would have gotten out of bed, let alone gone to work on a dairyfarm. She's pretty much done as she's been told throughout the first two episodes.

The show makes for great entertainment, but don't believe everything you see...

These reality shows it all about editing. You can do wonders with a show by how you put it together. For example i feel the producers could make Jessica out to be scholar if they wanted to. Well.......maybe not. I don't think you can have her success by being an idiot, or she has someone calling the shots. She even confesses on one of the shows that " I can't make alot of decisions without my mom."
Shes comes across as such a ditz. I wonder if thats the editing or she really has no clue. She sure looks good though. Even seeing her just rolling out of bed, hair a mess, no make-up, she still looks so hot. ( I have MTV so i have seen future episodes.) What are the odds the marriage will last a year? --- Kev

I think the people that said Paris Hilton is just hamming for the camera are right. No one, no matter how rich could have been sheltered enough to be that dumb. Well, maybe Michael Jackson's kids when they grow up if they get to continue their life of luxury.
