LOL. I have enough class not to break the following unwritten rules:

1. No honey where you get your money

2. If you are going to have a mistress, don't cavort around with her so publically, it humiliates your wife

3. Pay your mistress out of your own pocket, don't spend other people's money on her

Takes one to know one...

Know what's really funny? The basis of his vision of who he is is totally based on the fact that he is doing with without getting caught/discovered. So by the same token he must agree to the principal that a criminal isn't a criminal as long as he doesn't get caught.

Makes you wonder just what or how he acts in business? I guess fucking and cheating in business is ok too "as long as you don't get caught"......

Given what has been published in the media, I'll bet the TTC offered this guy a major serverance package to go away, which is why they will not discuss it, as such things are confidential.

Based on the information that I read, this guy has not done anything criminal, but he is definitely in violation of basic business ethics. How well the TTC would have made out had this gone to court is up for discussion. It looks to me like he was at least one step away from the actual transaction (ie He works for the TTC, the TTC contracts with AECOM, AECOM hires West Point Photography) so it would be hard to really nail him. This analysis is based on the Toronto Star report in the original post. So he did something wrong - but maybe not enough to be fired.

Fuji is correct - you don't shit where you eat.

No, I don't think that. I think a different set of rules apply to sexual cheating, always have, and always will. It is part of the human condition. If you look at the behavior of the upper classes they routinely cheat on their wives sexually, but they do NOT for the most part commit crimes. It's just a fact.

It is likely in recognition of this fact that sexual cheating is not subject to any legal penalties.

This thread is not much more than an attempt to divide an conquer. Same theme/target and argument as another in the other thread.

What blows my mind is the woman in question. Based on the photo in the article, she's barely a 4. I never understood why men ruin their careers running around with some ugly hag. If you're going to sink yourself, at least go all in and bang a HB9.5.

So tboy it is your opinion that most high class individuals commit crimes? Really??
HOLY crap dude, don't you read?

The difference is:
Middle and low income people commit petty crimes. High class individuals commit BIG SCALE crimes.....worth millions and ruin people's lives in the process...

How do you think rich people get rich? Certainly not by working hard for their money. In the vast majority of cases it is because they've taken advantage of someone, or used unscrupulous business practises......Need I mention COnrad Black? His problem was he got caught.

According to Fuji logic that's the only problem. You're fine and classy as long as you don't get caught.......

For the record: I don't find what the subject did to be a firing offence: recommending a photographer. Millions upon millions upon millions of people hire, subcontract, promote people they know or are related to. Shit this goes on every second of every day!

I disagree. I'm sure some businessmen are unscrupulous but every single one? Talk about populism. As for the poor, they usually ensure they remain poor on their own. Being spendthrifts, living on credit. Not hiring professionals when dealing with contracts, ending up on the hook. Dismissing university, the stock market, etc as things for rich or elitist people. Having children too early.

The list goes on and on.
