Don't Panic

Actually, Marberg is named after Marberg, Germany, where an outbreak occured in 1967 among workers who had come in contact with monkeys from Africa--Tanzania, if I remember correctly. Don't worry though, extremely "hot" emerging diseases such as this (ebola, Lhasa, and other filoviruses) are far too lethal to spread very far. They are like burning paper--very fast and very active, but once the "fuel" (in this case human beings) is exhausted, they die out just as quickly as they appear. The European cases will be isolated very quickly, along with anyone they've been in contact with, and the epidemic will be contained. Just be glad you don't live near a potential epicentre in Africa.

Surprised no one started a stay away from Africans/Africa/black people thread, seeing what the logic (illogic?) seems to be around here.

I think the facts speak for themselves, with rampant aids and other viruses spreading freely across Africa, its kind of hard to deny the truth.

I'll tell you what's scary is the fact that anyone on this planet would find that video of your's (with the granny and the baby) to be remotely humorous . . .

Personally, I find it abhorrent and would like to see it removed . . .

In Italy?

Yay, 2.5 million Catholics gathering in Rome will send this disease far and wide across the entire globe. Better stay away from Catholics.

One of the early symtoms of Marberg disease is an intolerance for other posters avatars. ;)

Personally I agree! If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were advocating violence against children.

Plus, I really see no need to continue to mock Barbara Bush like this. Granted she can get pretty cranky at times, but please. She hasn't kicked anything that hard in years.

If I didn't know any better (and I don't) I'd think you were advocating violence against loopy Presidents of super powerful countries that wage war for no good reason.
