I don't believe long-term ends up being fulfilling for 90% of couples. Ask most married folks if they would do it again and most will say not a chance, be it the wife or the husband. They might say, yes but only because I love my kids but as for the spouse, you will get that look. LOL

I’m youngish, single, and don’t have the mindset and $$$ for a steady relationship right now. Seeing escorts provides a relatively cheaper and easier short term thrill. And Covid was a shit time that had me craving easy intimacy when it ended. That’s when I started this hobby.
