Prem Watsa, the founder and CEO of Fairfax Financial Holdings, is known as the "Canadian Warren Buffett" and has been actively involved in the WEF (World Economic Forum). His involvement includes being a member of the WEF's Global Council on Insurance, a body focused on providing insights and recommendations to WEF's Global Agenda Council on the global insurance industry.

And the cons are touting the endorsement at the same time trying to claim they are Anti-WEF. lol. How on earth can you guys back this clownish behavior

There is no WEF Global Council on Insurance. And just because he's spoken at WEF meetings doesn't mean he's an ardent supporter. After all even Donald Trump addressed the forum. Mr. Watsa is a a self made billionaire and a distinguished Canadian. The CPC are honored to have his endorsement.

Your post is laughable and deliberate misinformation. The article was signed and endorsed by 30 business leaders from a range of industries not just Prem Watsa.

If you have any familiarity with the business community in this country (doubtful) many of them are self-made and support free market capitalism.

It is an extremely strong endorsement and almost unprecedented in an election campaign and also rather shocking they are supporting Poilievre and not the "rockstar banker and economist" Mark Carney.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has a Strategic Intelligence topic focused on Insurance. This topic, which includes data, insights, and the identification of risks and opportunities, is part of the WEF's broader efforts to understand transformational forces in the insurance industry. The WEF also has a Global Future Council on Financial and Monetary Systems which includes insurance-related discussions.

do you guy every get tired of being wrong? Yes Watsa is a brilliant man, but he is rather pro WEF, which is at odds with the CPC...
