"A conservative, to paraphrase and slightly alter Irving Kristol’s saying, is a liberal who has been mugged by reality — especially by a reality that is plain to the vast bulk of ordinary people but remains inexplicably invisible to liberal intellectuals and politicians."

Leftists will watch video like this, hear news like this, yet ignore it or find any excuse possible to deflect from it - until it happens to them. The longer it's allowed, the greater the odds that it arrives in their backyard.

Leftists cannot think abstractly nor extrapolate data when their feelings are involved. They must experience it first-hand to believe it, and that's usually when it's too late.
a crime committed....and for some reason you go on an rant about Lefties.....and project to how they will react to a video.....Bucky...you can do better

So the new trend is robbing people at gun point?
Hate to say that's been around for a while. That's why ATM machines have warnings about your surroundings.
I've always felt there has to be a mandatory 5 years added on to any sentence for a crime committed w a gun. Even the NRA should be at the forefront pushing that.

I remember Fox going nuts over the "knockout game" where something like 4 incidents of videotaped random assaults (and you guessed it, black guys as the perps) was played ad infinitum as the crime trend sweeping the country, all it seems to to keep the doughy white surburbanites frightened.

Well it is the liberals who changed the laws allowing criminals bail no matter the crime or how many chargers they have. Criminals know how soft Canada is on crime. There is no punishment for them.
Cops do their job, politicians don't do there's.

This is what delusion looks like.
It's about how delusions are created in the media.
For example, all reputable statistics showed crime was down. The average person thought crime was up and out of control. But the media replay over and over of violence etc, highlighting crime video ("if it bleeds it leads" ) ends up driving these inaccurate perceptions.

Even the term "jugging" is almost a decade old.

No. That's always been the law. Tories supported it too.

I did some posts on the logic and economics of bail release a few weeks ago. Go read it.

It's the usual crap with you guys. You see a video of some - always black or Muslim - guys doing bad shit and you start yelling about how no one should get bail. Sad.

And it's always "the liberals" who caused the problem. Even when anyone with 1/2 a brain knows the Tories also support bail. Sad.

I totally agree with you 110%. Just don't expect and count with the NRA to help with anything that involves slowing down their sales. The more profits for sale of guns for whatever reason to them, the better.

You lads miss the point.
It's elevating a rare crime to make it seem it's a common crime sweeping the country and occurring everwhere etc.
I'm not saying it's a minor crime at all. In fact, randomly slugging strangers is, to me, about the same as attempting murder as the perp is trying to cause maximum pain on an innocent with zero justification.and yes it can be lethal.

25 to life in my book for that sort of crime.
