thanks but here's the kicker. I've never "tipped" a $300+ lady yet, if you know what I mean.I like the way you think, But I don't see 300+ ladies.

Interesting strategy actually. It sure as hell works in bars...I have, on occasion, tipped prior to the session. This is usually when I met the SP, we click immediately, and I think a tip may just push the session from a 9 to a 10. For me it has been a good bet about half the time.

You do of course realize that if topics weren't hashed and rehashed ad nauseam, we would be left with nothing more than "any info on this one?" threads and random shit about European dignitaries.Threads about tipping frustrate me. It has been beaten, flogged and drug out on so many occasions. Let me summarize it for you:
Some men tip, and some do not. Some men bring a gift, and some do not.

At the end of the day one never knows if there will be a tip, or if a tip is even indicative of an exceptional level of service (some feel once they have tipped one time it is expected). Most have no clue that an extra 20$ which is obviously added as an after thought is enough to send most of the women over the moon that day, but may make her fret if you don't do the same on a subsequent visit.
The only way you truly know you have been exceptional is the level of repeat visits. Your ultimate goal and compliment would be a 90%+ repeat rate with occasional treats, gifts or sweet gestures (little things like knowing what you drink for coffee and where you drink it from or thinking to ask on the way is incredibly sweet).
Not to mention, many new people have subsequiently joined and may want to add their opinions, Or may not realize there are past threads about this and are enjoying the experience of learning from reading it.You do of course realize that if topics weren't hashed and rehashed ad nauseam, we would be left with nothing more than "any info on this one?" threads and random shit about European dignitaries.
Yes, but that doesn't stop me from tipping for exceptional service. The going rate is the going rate, regardless of what I think of it. I still think someone deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond. I find I tip about half the time, so your 30% seems about right.Or do you feel you have already paid enough?
So how does that work exactly? You leave and then send a text with a clue so they can go on a scavenger hunt through the condo or hotel room? Actually, that sounds fun...going forward I think I will break the donation into 6 and hide it throughout the place.I'm fairly new to the hobby and was about to start a new thread regarding tipping when, fortunately, I thought to search for the topic first.
I feel really very awkward pulling out my wallet at the end of the session to add a tip. It seems really crass somehow... I suppose I could leave an additional envelope in the washroom or the kitchen counter before exiting.... but that option just occured to me (this very moment.. as I am typing this response).
Anyway, I usually just include a 15-20% tip upfront. My reasoning is that if it pays off then great I'll be back next payday, and if not then I'll know not to come back (and I'll know that the less than satisfactory service wasn't because I was cheap). Does anyone else on here tip upfront as well?
Oh MJL...You joined 6 years ago, are new to the hobby, and just posted for the first time....
much respect.... that's some self control you've got![]()
I'm sure I've said this before...I do it all the time, good service or great service but never poor service. I try to cultivate better mileage should I decide to return. However, Bubble Pop may be right, as I have really not seen a difference with those ladies I have seen more than once. Unless you're leaving substantial tips, I think they probably can't remember one client's extra $20 from another.I have never seen tipping make an impact on service one way or the other, so I never do it.
.... right, I said I'm fairly new to the hobby... as in I've been at it more or less regularly for about 2 or 3 months... that's enough time to develop a routine, hence "usually"... then again I'm not sure what your definition of "new" is...Oh MJL...
The story doesn't add up, how does someone new already have a "usually" with regard to tipping?
it wasn't so much self control as a lack of money...You joined 6 years ago, are new to the hobby, and just posted for the first time....

You bumped a 4-year-old thread to say that????? LOLI tip for genuine DFK.
Holy shit, never noticed that...lol.You bumped a 4-year-old thread to say that????? LOL
Personally I tend to utilize the same approach as well with similar success rates as yours kkelso!I have, on occasion, tipped prior to the session. This is usually when I met the SP, we click immediately, and I think a tip may just push the session from a 9 to a 10. For me it has been a good bet about half the time.
