We're in the Beginning Stages of a Police State

A police state exists when federal and state political and police mechanisms:

1. Shut down media coverage after they steal an election

2. Serve the central government instead of serving the citizens

3. Enforce the policies of the central government instead of responding primarily to criminal misdeeds

4. Spy on and intimidate citizens

All these conditions now exist in the United States!

* In a free society, police agencies respond to evidence of planned and actual criminal activity.

* Police officers in a free society keep the peace; they do not investigate citizens and activities unless there is some reason to investigate.

* In a free society, police do not investigate citizens' attitudes toward the central government, only their action.

* Citizen dissent is lawful in a free society and police agencies do not investigate citizens' attitudes toward the criminal justice apparatus.

In your head
Scroll,

From your post it seems very obvious, that you:

1) Do not live in the US.

2) Never lived in a police state.

Because of that, I will not honour this post, with any more than this.

Cheers and have a good life.

Police State USA

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=29705

Every purchase you make with a credit card, every magazine subscription you buy and medical prescription you fill, every website you visit and e-mail you send or receive, every academic grade you receive, every bank deposit you make, every trip you book and every event you attend – all these transactions and communications will go into what the Defense Department describes as 'a virtual, centralized grand database,'" writes Safire.

And that's not all.

"To this computerized dossier on your private life from commercial sources, add every piece of information that government has about you – passport application, driver's license and bridge toll records, judicial and divorce records, complaints from nosy neighbors to the FBI, your lifetime paper trail plus the latest hidden camera surveillance – and you have the supersnoop's dream: a 'Total Information Awareness' about every U.S. citizen," he continues.

Even the hastily passed USA Patriot Act, which widened the scope of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and weakened 15 privacy laws, raised requirements for the government to report secret eavesdropping to Congress and the courts," explains Safire. "But Poindexter's assault on individual privacy rides roughshod over such oversight."

This is the Pentagon's version of Hillary-Care. This is a power grab of unprecedented proportions. These kinds of civil-liberties abuses should not be condoned even in time of war.

Why would a Police State allow these to be made?

(unless it is realy a leftist conspiracy based police state)

World Net Daily is a pretty crappy site to be linking news stories from. They're not very reputable.

A sign for me would be Bush's new bill that permits the government to throw US citizens in jail forever without a trial.

Now that's f'in scary...
I can't believe Bush is in office doing this kind of shit.
He seriously isn't qualified for the job FFS!
All planned out, getting this fucknut in office.
It all started with Senior nominating Clarence Thomas into the Supreme Court.

You are right, and I've said it before. Everything that has happened before and after 9/11, is about specific events that put in place the assumed need for actions that will put Americans, and everyone else in the modern world under constant surveillance, and in a position where the government can control you without reason.

My favorite line from Escape from LA:

Snake: Got a smoke?
Malloy: The United States is a non-smoking nation! No smoking, no drugs, no alcohol, no women - unless you're married - no foul language, no red meat!
Snake: Land of the free.

AMERICA: FREEDOM TO FASCISM

"FOUR STARS (Highest Rating). The scariest damn film you'll see this year. It will leave you staggering out of the theatre, slack-jawed and trembling. Makes 'Fahrenheit 9/11' look like 'Bambi.' After watching this movie, your comfy, secure notions about America -- and about what it means to be an American -- will be forever shattered. Producer/director Aaron Russo and the folks at Cinema Libre Studio deserve to be heralded as heroes of a post-modern New American Revolution. This is shocking stuff. You'll be angry, you'll be disgusted, but you may actually break out in a cold sweat and feel a sickness deep in your gut; I would advise movie theatre managers to hand out vomit bags. You may end up needing one."
--- Todd David Schwartz, CBS

Neither left- nor right-wing, this startling examination exposes the systematic erosion of civil liberties in America.

Not to worry. Its plain to me that the U.S. government has come up with a new coverup that makes the extraterrestrial coverups pale by comparison. They obviously tapped into the Akashic record database and now know everything about everyone. No big deal really...just hope they don't leak the sex stuff.
