Roommates, I complimented you on your fine taste in music on the other thread about "Favourite Albums'' The song " If loving you is wrong" was originally done by a soul singer named Luther Ingram. I,ll bring you the album if i ever get to your establishment!! Oh and Revolver the original Mandy was called Brandy sung by an obscure singer named Scott English , a far superior versionover Manilow..just being a know it all!!!....if loving you is wrong i don,t wanna be right...if it means living without ya ,i,d rather be in wrong doing right.....

Thanks twobigo, I've never heard that one. The name Scott English sounds vaguely familiar though.

Wow, Taxi by Harry Chapin. A song I have not heard or really thought about in a long time. That is a good song, especially the falsetto bit in the middle. Interestingly enough, I rode in a cab earlier this month that was driven by Harry Chapin's uncle. I did not mention the irony around the fact that he was driving a cab.

...this is one of my all time faves....everytime we come back from a long road trip...my buddies and I would play this song on the way home...

Can't find my way home - Blind Faith...little Stevie Winwood along with members of cream....Clapton...Baker....

Come down off your throne
And leave your body alone
Somebody must change
You are the reason
I've been waiting so long
Somebody holds the key
Well I'm near the end and I just ain't got the time
Well I'm wasted and I can't find my way home

Come down on your own
And leave your money at home
Somebody must change
You are the reason
I've been wating all these years
Somebody holds the key
I'm near the end and I just ain't got the time
Oh and I'm wasted and I can't find my way home
