Ive tried Toppers twice. First time was great but 2nd time was lousy.
I also found them to be quite expensive.

Taste Test

I tried Toppers and found its taste good. It was a little pricey though. For the price of a small you can get a medium elsewhere.

I don't mind paying a little extra as long as it is a good quality pizza. I eat at Dante's Pizza often it is by far the most expensive and best pizza that I have ever had.

I'm tempted to try Toppers now.

Are you trying to tell me that all of Buffalo has better pizza than any place in the greater Toronto area?

agreed. Sault Ste. Marie has pizza like no other, as well.

I've heard Montreal has good pie for 99cents a slice.
Sounds like cardboard and artifical cheese and meats

I concur. Sounds weird, way up there, but there's something about having
30 000 Italians in a city of 75 000 that leads to good pizza. I've lived all over the country and I have yet to find a city with a higher concentration of good pizza joints than the Soo. Who'd a thunk it?

Now if only they'd get some good Italian SP's up there...........

I've never heard of Toppers and have never even noticed the one in Collingwood.the website looks like a pizza pizza knock off....wonder if they are affilliated?...all the locations are northern towns.

Marconis Pizza has been around for years. they used to be in Marklandwoods plaza but had a fire years ago around this time of year. they then moved to Applewood plaza and now currently operate just south of Burnhamthorpe on the east side of Cawthra. there is also a good portuguese chicken joint in that plaza.

Milanos Pizza is another good place in the west end. Milanos is the place that blew up a couple of years ago. they are now located across the street from the old location in the strip plaza.... north side of bloor west of Kipling

and for the best pizza and italian sandwiches, can't forget Rocco's Plum tomato at Queensway/Park Lawn , Islington/Queensway , Bloor/Bathurst

I highly reccommend the Roccos Rustica club sandwhich with Roccos house salad. you can even have a pasta side dish instead of salad for under 10 bucks.

Roccos rocks!

Sorry dud i will correct you on Marconi Pizza. They were in the applewood hills plaza (bloor st & runningbrooke dr)before a fire did them in. but that was even before i was in high school then they moved up to Burnhamthorpe and Cawthra rd. In where the old Red barn was. Grew up in the area. Mind you i do rememeber Marconi Pizza having a second location but don't recall where it was and remember it closing down i guess poor business.

Still then made an excellent thin crust pizza

Marconi was located in Marklandwoods plaza before Applewood.has to be about 30yrs ago. they had a fire at marklandwoods plaza which I know for sure because I witnessed the after math as a kid.

so your saying they had a fire at Applewood plaza to?

I also grew up in the area.

I eat there a lot too. It seems expensive however their pizza goes a long way. A medium will do two hungry adults with a few slices left over. So imo it's not really that expensive when you consider the "mileage" that you get out of one their pies. They're very genorous with the toppings which are of very high quality particularily meats - bacon, pepperoni etc.

Best pizzas I ever had were made by a Chinese person. Maybe we should try Hong Kong?
