Toronto vs Montreal - why the $$ difference

Just had a few business trips to Montreal the past 6 weeks. Always puzzled at the price difference between the two cities (about $100/hour less for Montreal). However, the Montreal agencies do run promotions, mainly in the winter, to keep everyone busy. For the cost of an hour in Toronto, I can pay $25 more in Montreal and have 2 hours or a duo for an hour (or two visits).

Don't buy the story that doing business in Toronto is 40% more expensive. The restaurants and hotels are equally pricey.

Maybe someone can explain why lots of the Toronto girls in the off season say they are slow, but agencies don't seem to flex to provide incentives. In the summer or during special events, sure - keep prices firm. But in slow times, provide incentives... Seems simple, but hey, when facing a beautiful woman I think with the wrong head.

quebec is a have not welfare province so their is a glut of good looking women there with little opportunity. There is a greater supply which creates more competition among them and lowers the cost to the consumer.

I am not so sure that restaurants are equally pricey, but I don't think that has any determination on SP prices. Rent is way lower. That brings down the cost of living significantly. I expect that there are other things that are cheaper too. 40% cheaper? That seems unlikely. Maybe its a supply and demand situation that brings down prices.

It's simple. In at least the past 20 to 30 years, the Toronto economy has been much stronger than the Montreal economy. Montreal has been hamstrung by political uncertainty over separation, language issues, excessively powerful unions, and corruption.

It is no wonder that we see many Montreal-based SPs - like Sebelle - come to Toronto to make their living. However, many of these women still prefer Montreal as the place to call their home. As well, there is no way to convert any them from being Habs fans to Leaf fans. :)

Up until the mid 70s Montreal was a city growing by leaps and bounds. They even built a second airport to accommodate the expected growth of the biggest city in Canada at that time with the most corporate head offices. It was after the 1976 Olympics that the separatist Parti Quebecois came in and fucked everything up. Now all the head offices have moved down the road to the GTA and Toronto is the biggest city in Canada with the most head offices. Montreal has the lowest rent for a major city in Canada, Mirabel airport is closed to the public and is now used for cargo only.

The people of Toronto have to thank Rene Levesque of the separatist Parti Quebecois for their prosperity. Would the GTA be a SP paradise now if it not be for Rene? Would have, could have, should have.....................I guess we will never know.

it is called market or zone pricing

Retailers have been doing this for decades.

You set pricing based on the market not the item.

Yes the economy is weaker and there is less opportunity, but also the french girls are less inhibited about sex and a greater supply of them enter the field which keeps supply up and prices down. The agency owners probably are happier with less money given thier lower cost of living.

We all know the cost of an SP in Montreal is cheaper. I must be looking at the wrong agencies/ladies, or my math is way off, but where/when are the 2hr or duo rates in Montreal just $275/hr ? (Based on Toronto being $250/hr).

Among SPs being a better deal in Montreal, have you seen the price of beer down there? For the cost of a case of Lakeport here, I can get a case of Heineken down there.

I think it's strictly a case of supply and demand.

There's an over supply in Montreal, hence the prices are lower. Also, the girls are willing to work for less, hence the prices are lower.

And as previously mentioned, women in Montreal are more comfortable with sexuality than their Toronto cousins.

Oh. Montreal. Haven't been in a while. Will have to make a trip this year for sure.

So different from Toronto on a sociable level and therefore sociable things.
