He would have been banned for a long time if he's a speed head and did the net while on it.

Yes, I know Zanta

I see Zanta all the time and even dared to have a lengthy coversation with him.

He's definitely crazy - it really doesn't seem like an act.

He can't do one arm pushups because of his back injury.

He was "banned" from downtown Toronto briefly last year. Recently he's been in Yorkville pretty much every day.

about a month ago I saw him at Yonge and Bloor carrying on a conversation (through glass) with 2 young couples at the window seats of a restaurant. He was making these thrusting gestures at one of the girls and kept asking 'do you fuck her?" while they, who may or may not been able to hear him just laughed and egged him on. Maybe they have dealt with him before but when I went by I gave him a lot of distance as in my non professional opinion the guy just radiates craziness.

If you have a Wikipedia entry, I guess you've "made it"...

I was wondering who the hell that guy was, I was sitting out in the front patio at Hemingway's on Cumberland Tuesday enjoying a late lunch and a cold brew and all of a sudden I kept hearing this "yes, yes, yes" . At first I thought it was the old drunk guy I passed by on Bloor who was yelling out loud to himself incoherantly, but when I stood up from my table to look and see what the commotion was about, instead of the old man I saw this rather ripped dude in a Santa hat.

I could not see the connection at all with his Santa concept, it wasn't December, it wasn't even July, I was thinking "WTF"??? At first I thought this must be a skit for TV or a joke or something, but when I noticed no cameras accompanying "Zanta" I thought "Man that's some pretty f**ked up shit right there !" But the Wikipedia link has answered all.

Who are some of the other Nutcases in Toronto?
Dalton McGuinty and George Smitherman. Compared to them Zanta is an archtype of sanity. In the context of the principle of "Primum Non Nocere" those two win hands down.
