Does Via rail except bikes on there trains? Downtown Montreal hotels don't recall seeing bike parking. Maybe motels that's cheaper too. What is the cheapest and quickest way for my bike and I to go from downtown Toronto to downtown Montreal. I am thinking maybe VIA rail. Also, where to stay in downtown Montreal.

Tell more about Megabus. What is their contact info? I want to bring my bike so I can travel around Montreal. My bike doesn't have a Toronto license, will this be a problem in Montreal?Megabus is the cheapest option. You have to book ahead on line.
If you don't like the bus, try Porter Airlines at the Island Airport. Cheaper than Via (stay away from Via!!).
How does this work? You signed them out? How does the city ensure that they get them back? There are also some free bikes outside of a few Metro stations (they belong to the city), but they go really fast in the mornings.
Am I wrong to assume that cycling on 401 is not allowed,The cheapest way is to ride it. :biggrin1:
"Quick" would depend on you...
What is it, 500km?Am I wrong to assume that cycling on 401 is not allowed,
not even on the edge? I imagine it will take the fastest biker in
the world days to get to Montreal riding through regional roads.
