You felt it too?!
My computer desk started quickly swaying back and forth.
I was thinking wtf, is my building about to collapse?
I'm in Vaughan and I didn't feel a thing! What time did this happen?I'm in Vaughan
9:43 I'm in N.York didn't feel nothing...I'm in Vaughan and I didn't feel a thing! What time did this happen?
I didn't feel it in Cambridge, but a friend of mine in Hamilton did.I felt it! I always miss it when these things happen. That was neat but kind of scary. I was sitting on my couch and and felt the movement. It felt like my dog had just jumped on the couch beside me. Imagine how freaky a more powerful quake would be...
Down beside the lake in Mississauga ... dishes falling off the shelves, books falling with the book shelves ... I stumbled out to the street with other confused neighbours just in time to witness a gas explosion from a broken gas line shoot into the air as the car under it was propelled onto an adjacent house. The roar of the escaping jet of fire almost covered the screams of people fleeing the rush of water surging from Lake Ontario .... oh the humanity ......Same thing here, my computer desk started swaying then the windows of my house rattled for a second or two.
Well, that's probably the only reason to want to live in Manitoba. :thumb:Was watching TV when it happened. Felt the flooring shift under my feet, felt a slight swaying for several seconds, and the leaves on a plant next to me started swaying gently.
Check out the history of earthquakes in Canada over the last 400 years. If you're earthquake averse, apparently Manitoba is the place to be.

Well Manitoba is also the only province to offer an odour-control tax credit. That must count for something...Well, that's probably the only reason to want to live in Manitoba. :thumb:
