Both parties need a younger leader! I would love to see Gavin take the lead and battle Haley in November.

Mitchy, go to the 3 minute mark and watch Newsom destroy the repugs. I am saving you some tums and only feeding you the important information. I will make a Democrat and a Justin voter if it is the last thing I do!!!

Given that Trump's mental unfitness and rapid cognitive decline will be issues throughout his Presidency should he win, the VP pick becomes very interesting.
Is Trump going to be aware enough and in control enough to try and pick someone who he thinks is so loyal that even if Trump becomes so obviously incompetent mentally that they can't hide it anymore, the VP blocks the 25th amendment from being used? Or is he already so far gone that his handlers makes sure to pick a VP they can slot into place and have Trump thrown out as soon as that becomes convenient?

I'm curious as to how this affair has affected the evidence against Trump.
Seems it's a distraction. However, seems profoundly stupid by Willis to have someone like this anywhere near her case. She should know that she picks her nose the right wing noise machine will jump on it.

You assume that the crazy old man can be "handled" successfully?.....

I think it's more likely that factions and individuals within the GOP and the Mar-a-Tasteless inner circle are maneuvering to place their own people in the VP slot. And assuming that Trump is even more of a dribbling, ranting dementia case in office than he is already, does any GOP-per have the balls to 25 him given the obloquy that will then attach to them as the "party traitor" among the MAGA peasants?

Comments like that just reassure my belief that Trump will win again.
You know...that entitled, elitist, bullying, leftist type of attitude that helped get him elected last time.

Please do keep it up...thanks!
You mean the 2020 election that Trump won with a margin of over 900 million votes and that Hillary Clinton, Hunter Biden and George Soros then stole from him of course?

You assume that she is any less corrupt and self-seeking than the GOP people?

I assume people will try.
He can be handled - people have noted that he can be baited into things and manipulated in all kinds of ways.
More importantly, as his cognitive state declines, people will be more and more motivated to handle him.

This is exactly my point.
We are going to be have a glimpse of which factions are in what position based on the VP pick.
Every faction is going to try and make sure that the VP isn't someone who will invoke the 25th on their own.
Trump and family - maybe some loyalists - will want someone who will never invoke it no matter what.
Most others will take the route where the goal is to have control of the VP, but never pull the trigger on Trump and instead just use him as a puppet like Reagan was after the Alzheimer's hit.
There may be some who think they can launch the VP into control via 25th first chance they get but I doubt that. More likely the 25th will only really come into play if Trump becomes so obviously demented that the media can't hide it anymore.

If that happens, the very delicate dance of invoking 25 without provoking the cult backlash comes into play.

But I suspect there is going to be a LOT of backstabbing and court shenanigans in a second Trump regime, because handling an increasingly demented dictator is always tricky.
