Its hard to say what happens after trump. Its such a cult of personality that it may all just fall apart with infighting. Or Miller might take it over and that's that.

Possible that the House and Senate R's come to their senses if Trump dies, but they are being suppported financially by the same groups and people that have hopped on the bandwagon.

It's been hopelessly corrupt for decades. What has changed is that the GOP top leadership pretended that they actually had the best interest of the country at heart - as long as their own pockets got lined.
The current trend is that the openly corrupt and incompetent now run the country and there is no longer a pretense of integrity and competence. Just greed, egomania and inability to function at even the level of an averagely intelligent high school student.

I did some reading on Miller. He has a history of being a contrarian shit disturber who found a home in right wing politics. He's mean and spiteful ... and he embraces it as a feature, not a bug. But without trump, his is done. He is reviled by most in the party but he has Trump's ear closer than anyone else.
But yeah, I cn see a Repub catfight after the mid-terms and after Trump has his final coat of makeup applied. No idea how it might play out. I don't think it will bring the US back together. It is a tribal society now.
Miller has zero charisma.
