He was convicted of non-consensually and forcibly inserting his finger into Caroll. Regardless of what it is considered per NY law, what do YOU think it is? Rape or not rape? Give me a straight answer.

Oracle wouldn't mind if Trump shoved his short stubby fingers up Oracles ass. Probably less painful than shoving his 🍄 dick up there.

Besides, the big award was not for the sexual assault, it was for Trump stupidly, shooting his mouth off again, and again calling her a liar when it had already been a legally adjudicated matter of objective fact. There is a reason they call them punitive damages and are intended to discourage continued damaging conduct.

Ask yourself this..Why wasn't he charged criminally of rape?....Hmmm..Maybe because there was zero physical evidence.

Just stop embarrassing yourself.

You and your Maggat brethren have tried and tried this angle over and over. You never get anywhere with it, and never will. But like Russia, will never realize, nor ever accept it if you did.

At the end of the day, Trump is his own worst enemy and is paying a price for the life he has led, and continues to do so.

What is the general consensus about Trump winning in the US for Canadians? Not how you feel about the guy but who would most Canadians like to have in office? Based in the states and was curious.

I'll take an old man experienced, respectful and compassionate over a whining, raving cuntfaced narcissistic con man with little or no international experience, let alone experience.

I'd rather have the least controversial candidate possible...So that leaves Trump out.

I would have been fine with Nikki Haley. Move the Republicans forward and leave the Trump sideshow.

I'll never understand why the Democrats are riding with Biden...They're flirting with disaster.

An individual charged with around 91 felonies, and running for President is not controversial?

Nikki Haley made a lot more common sense. She probably would win he elections by a much bigger margin than either of the incumbents.
How did the Republicans not nominate her makes little sense!!

Biden is much the better of the two devils that will be running neck and neck at this elections. Much less controversial than Trump!!

Very thankful that I get to vote in a county that wouldn’t have half the country even considering voting for such a lunatic in the first place, let alone… again.

The USA was considered the weird crazy rich uncle that you had to be nice to for 4 years. Next time, the pronoun “retarded” will come back into being an acceptable word and the rest of the world will not invite him to Christmas dinner, and he can just use Amazon Prime to send presents if he wants to try to buy himself back in. And if he doesn’t, oh well. 🤷‍♂️

Or because the statute of limitations prevented it in the first place.

But you are right, the jury would almost certainly have not found him guilty of rape under New York law if it had been a criminal trial, because they would have reasonable doubt about whether or not he shoved a finger or his penis into her.
That's why they didn't - even under the lower standard of a civil trial - find him liable for that.

As a dual citizen living in Canada - there are a lot of pro-Trump people up here.
There is probably a general sense that if Pollievre wins, he and Trump will get along and Trump basically likes to do things with people he personally gets along with since that's how he views international relations.

The majority would find it bad overall, but there is a pretty strong "Well, the US is just crazy, so be more careful now" feeling.

But the "Wokeness is killing us" crowd (which we do have) will be very happy.

Apologies for treading into the banned subject on these threads, but this post raises an interesting question.
This seems to show that the US is very willing to arrest presidential candidates.

She isn't a serious presidential candidate, but yes.
Remember, people have run for President from jail before.
Trump was also arrested and had to come into court and then released.
