Please take a minute and look at the historic web site stats for Breitbart for pre/post Bannon. Bannon's leadership made one heck of a difference in the web-site's popularity and it was under Bannon that many of the mirror sites were set-up which gave greater perceived credibility to some of Breitbart's more "creative" reports. Sure, Breitbart stats have been in steady decline for close to a year and Breitbart will survive Bannon's leaving, but Bannon made Breitbart a household word. Love him or hate him, he was a very bright man.
You could argue that Bannon's demise is a lot more like Mussolini's than Hitler's.
