Now down to the short strokes, your last statement makes my point much beter than I can , between calling people names and spewing out regurgitated propaganda without something resembling individual thought you pretty much seal your own fate.

Be happy living in your cave living on weeds and slugs
I think my count on the "independent thought" score is pretty decent! I simply ask anyone to compare our posts on this issue and wonder who it is that is really just spewing out someone's else's thoughts. Similarly, shifter of dirt encounters a tough point by me, but instead of thinking it through, shifter of dirt just gives up and moves on (see the duck-and-weave in response to my point that climate deniers are playing with fire in their claims about vested interests). Lastly, propaganda? Pot calling the kettle black, indeed! In the global warming and sea level rising threads, I stuck to three things: some technical info to lend credibility to the global warming claim, debunking some very bad arguments against said claim, and some sarcastic replies to boneheaded arguments. The propaganda machine is coming from the climate deniers. And, yes, sometimes I get frustrated and call them funny names, but mostly, I make fun of our silly handles. Really, if you have something of value to say, just make a good argument and make people listen because of that quality argument.

Actually, fuji and nolabel, I think what we should do is just call landscaper, cycleguy et al just willfully ignorant.

They obviously will not try to understand anything that might result in change to their own lifestyle and cannot apparently understand even the most basic scientific principles. Fuji and Nolabel have both put out clear arguments and the only answers have been nonsense.

I expect that they don't believe in evolution and think cigarettes are good for them.

Either you already know this and you are being intellectually dishonest, trying to make this sound less settled than it is by throwing up sand--or you are ignorant of the subject entirely, and worse, talking as though you know something about a subject on which you know nothing.

So which is it? Dishonest? Or ignorant?
Yeah, camera product, you tell 'em. Nicely put. I vote they are honestly ignorant. Or is that knowingly dishonest? Either way, ostriches have too much sand in their brains to really make a good case.

I have to respond, because I think I've yet to take a good humoured shot at your handle . . . um . . . . soap in bath . . . Best I can do on short notice. But agree fully. I still think it would be fun to explore the extent to which the cherry picking about theories has some element of "don't tell me what to do" daddy issues!
