Very sad but you are absolutely correct.

You know, in Sweden, some cities banned private schools. The reasoning was that without private school wealthy parents would invest to make sure their kids get the best education in the best public facilities.

Some would be offended that rich people should pay more than others. I say shut the fuck up and pay ;)
The same reason we should ban private clinics too.

Aspirin - problematic if you are prone to internal bleeding.

Acetaminophen - even a mild overdose can destroy your liver.

Ibuprofen - can exacerbate internal bleeding, but not as much as Aspirin. Can be hard on the kidneys of you have Chronic Kidney Disease.

Naproxen - can exacerbate internal bleeding, but not as much as Aspirin. Increased risk of heart attack or stroke with long term use or high doses.

Opioids - addictive, and possibly fatal in overdoses.

What's a person in chronic pain to do?
If you're pregnant you risk damage from fever that could lead to autism.
Too bad they didn't find the real cause.

I don't think many people realize just how textbook malevolent Stephen Miller is. Nor how influential he is with Trump. Trump can't think up these complex policies himself. He simply does not have the education nor knowledge in the various fields. Don't get me wrong, I think Trump is highly intelligent but more in his skill in knowing how to self-promote and manipulate people and systems.

But Trump has no 'policies', and no convictions... other than those for fraud.

I read a book on MIller and have watched a few YT videos about him, with him in them in his early years and his own back story.. as told by him. He is a guy who simply likes to be a hurtful shit disturber. Likely because he is so fucking ugly and lost his hair so young etc. Seriously.

(Malevolent is an adjective that means having, showing, or arising from intense, often vicious, ill will, spite, or hatred. It describes something that is wanting to cause harm or evil, has an evil or harmful influence, or appears evil. )
He is a sociopath. I'm sure of it. And right now the largest voice in the White House.

He has been working on things for ten years, and is imo, the most dangerous man in America.

If you work in medicine you'd have to know what was coming up, so why would you not refuse or call in sick?
Its like the 'inject disinfectant' or 'shine bright lights' announcement that lived on for years.
These videos are your career.

Sure, RFK jr is a brain wormed moron, but how does the rest of the team stand up with him?

They have hitched their wagons to the whores and are hoping they can ride it to just the right time. Like guys who try to beat the stock market or catching falling knives.

Psychopath, not a mere sociopath. He is driven my malevolence, not indifferent to the consequences of his actions.

And you are right, he is the most dangerous man in America.

I have, over my life, been a behind the scenes guy who gets things done, quietly, through the front men who want the spotlight. Whether it is in clubs, trade/business associations, gov't, etc, I never wanted the spotlight. I like to stay behind the scenes. I don't even have anyone on my LinkdIn, just a placeholder profile to not allow someone else to hijack my name. When you have the ear of, or are hired by someone who knows you aren't going to steal their thunder, you can really wield a lot of influence and get shit done. Better that nobody sees you as a threat, just a trusted, respected asset.

Like Miller. Except he can't resist taking the spotlight once in a while.

The holistic / anti vaxx assholes are their own component in the Far Right - like the Free-Dumb KKKonvoy assholes.

It's all a TV show for the Base. Each week, there's a new episode pitched to the Stupidoos who vote for MAGA.

Make no mistake, Tylenol/Acetaminophen is fucking deadly.

I recall an ER Doc buddy telling me that he has seen more than a few cry-for-attention attempted suicides that swallowed a handful of tylenol that irreversibly killed their liver. It is a slow agonizing, death. Said many of them were out of their minds when they were told they were actually going to die.

It is a potent heptotoxic agent in high doses. But it is the safest pain reliever of them all at normal dosages.

Acetaminophen overdose as a suicidal gesture: a survey of adolescents' knowledge of its potential for toxicity

Acetaminophen is a popular nonprescription analgesic that is often taken in overdose by adolescents during suicidal gestures. The authors hypothesized that most adolescents are naive about the toxic and lethal potential of acetaminophen in overdose. A one-page, 12-item questionnaire was administered to 169 high school students to evaluate their perceptions and knowledge in this area. Whereas only 22% of the sample underestimated the dose of acetaminophen necessary to cause harm, 40.5% underestimated the potential lethality of acetaminophen in overdose. Moreover, 17% of the sample did not believe one could ingest enough acetaminophen to cause death. The lack of knowledge about acetaminophen's potential dangerousness, its widespread availability, and an absence of early symptoms of hepatotoxicity make this medication highly dangerous to those adolescents who take it in overdose during parasuicidal behavior.

Condolences, that's a hard one to live with. After reading Ian Brown's book I was devastated, but hope your kid is higher functioning and doing ok.
Thanks for the kind words - He's moderate on the spectrum - the hard part for my ex-wife and I has been pivoting away from school to making him job-ready. Brown's book is a tough read for parents like us, and makes me even angrier that quacks like RFK and Oz are allowed anywhere near medicine, let alone medical data. It's beyond dangerous...

Its bad enough we've got DoFo cutting funding for autistic kids in school.
We need to give parents like you as much support as needed.

This somehow makes me happy for H1B visa holders who can finally choose a more mentally developed country to work in and boost their economy.
A time when everyone’s dream was to settle in America has Now become a complete nightmare.

As a country, when did America become so stupid to stop listening to science and scientists and start listening to RFK and reality TV show hosts?

When did America become that stupid?
Isaac Azimov in 1980, sums it up very accurately:
There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge'.

The POS really repeated Goebbels line from a speech apparently.
A Jewish man repeating the words of a Nazi to put down "the leftists" that were originally uttered, to put down the Jewish people!
