Uber story, female perpsective

Gets an Uber to Mercedes to pick up her car, her driver asks then insists on picking up his friend, she says no, gets uncomfortable and is pissed.
I don't use Uber much, but not a bad idea to insist it's a woman driver assuming only if the person that's being picked up is female, because I can see guys with bad intentions abusing that "feature".

Fuck Uber. Told the story before, but I took an Uber a couple of Christmas eve's ago. Got charged $17.00 for a 3 block ride. Next month got dinged $10.49 per month from Uber. Tried contacting them. No email. No phone number. No mailing address. Finally got my bank to cancel my credit card and issue me with a new one with a new number and refund me the 5 months Uber charged me.

Damn near every cab company has the same problem as Uber. Shit bag drivers who get away with all kinds of outrageous shit because the company can't be bothered to do anything about it. At least with the cab companies they can blame it all on the labour unions, why Uber doesn't take a zero tolerance policy towards bad drivers is a mystery to me

The Uber driver should be removed or suspended by the company .
The women passenger who is a drama queen has a problem with ” Indians “ and she most likely imported this sentiment when she came to Canada from likely the West Indies which will not jive with the current GTA reality as “Indians” are now plentiful and heavily represented in many sectors of the economy doing jobs that ”old stock Canadians “ either cannot or will not do. This woman is naive if things that she can get a ” Canadian” Uber driver and a female one at that !

Driving an Uber or a cab isn't a license to print money like it was even five years ago before COVID started. After you deduct your expenses, a good driver would be lucky to make minimum wage. I've spoken to a quite a few drivers who maybe get five or six trips a day. It's to the point where if you aren't doing Uber and Lyft at the same time you really don't stand a chance at making any money at all.

I've spoken to a quite a few drivers who maybe get five or six trips a day. It's to the point where if you aren't doing Uber and Lyft at the same time you really don't stand a chance at making any money at all.

That's because of over supply. Plenty of other drivers. Hence why they don't get many trips. If don't like the wage then get another job. No one is forcing anyone to be an uber driver. If the wages were better there'd be even more supply and less rides per.
