Buffalo is some 15+ points out of the division lead, while Ottawa is one point back with a game in hand!! If you can't see the difference in that then, then I suggest you go back to grade one math and take a refresher course.


Kathleen - What I said was after the 4 goals let in in Ottawa he held the fort. Now I am not backing Kidd, as he is at fault for some goals, but you have to admit the Leafs do take it down a notch when Kidd is in net. Even Mcabe, and others for that matter, addmitted that defensively they let Kidd down. Having said that, I would try Telqvist in goal if for any other reason than to shake things up a little.
An aside Kathleen - with 6 players left in the 3rd doesn't make the Leaf win in Ottawa 'amazing'. Its just a team taking advantage of a situation - and rightly so. Now if Ottawa had all 20 skaters going in the third at full strength and the Leafs winning, that would be amazing.

Kidd has lost the confidence of the team. He has proven he is not up to the job. Whether or not Belfour is healthy, JF and Quinn need to find out if Tellquist is an adequate fill in or go and get someone else, a capable backup before the deadline.
