Gary Mills, 19, Bradley Harris, 17, Dylan Howes, 15 and Paul Harvey, 14, went on the rampage across Middlesbrough in a crime spree that left their victims traumatised, Teesside Crown Court heard.
Judge Les Spittle told them: 'Young people like you are the scourge in our society. Bully boys going around thinking you can do what you like, take what you like by use of aggressive, threatening behaviour and violence.
'You think you can go through life doing what you like and get away with it, and then you come to court when you are eventually brought to book and on your behalf we are expected to feel sorry for you. Well, we don't and we cannot'
Harris, Harvey and Howes could not be named previously. But Judge Spittle decided to lift the (no publically naming young offenders) ban and naming and shaming them in the hope it would act as a deterrent to others.
Mills of Middlesbrough, admitted two burglaries, two robberies and assault with intent to rob, and was sentenced to six years in prison.
Harvey and Howes both Middlesbrough were each given intensive supervision programmes.
Judge Spittle also ordered that the two youngest should be on an electronic-tag curfew from 7pm to 7am, Harvey for three months and Howes for six.
Defence barristers said their clients had suffered troubled childhoods for a variety of reasons, which explained their lawless lives.
