Another thing that is making Ukraine so eager to receive
support from the west to fight on
is that all the military aid and assistance
provided are purported to help them to fight for democracy and
freedom when they are actually fighting a proxy war to death. The
U.S. has a history of sponsoring through giving generous military
aid to proxy war fighters like the South Vietnamese, Hmong
freedom fighters in Laos and Saddam Hussein ( war with Iran).
And they have a history of hanging them out to dry. Don't forget that.
