Agree with you on the german soccer, but they have been still good enough to play with the best.
Coaching seems to be the problem. They pissed off Beckenbauer, because he did not have a coaching license.
Berti Vogts was a dud. Voeller gave up to easy.

Germany dictated play in the 2002 final for most of the match and if it wasnt for Kahn's broken finger Brazil may never have scored. Then you go into ET or penalties and the farkers would probably have won!!

I believe part of the problem is the increased competition today. The so called "third world teams" are catching up.
Look at Turkey, Greece, USA, Nigeria, Korea and others.
It is called efficent soccer....very few german teams(maybe the 1972 team) ever played as nice and flashy as the Brazilians do.Escohort said:
