Who goes on LEOlist without knowing that a Law Enforcement Officer would visit. We need a SWlist instead and we need it now
A cursory search on the pictures show the entire group of them on multiple sites. Nice touch posting the course load though, not that it would be difficult to fake that but at least they put in the minimum effort.
This warning simply reinforces the fact that booking unverified providers comes with a whole series of unnecessary risks.
If you want to ensure you have a great experience; are making a safe investment; are seeing someone who isn’t being coerced or trafficked; those who are honest; those that take care of their health, safety and yours; will behave professionally; will respect your privacy, your dignity and your time; and those that appreciate your business, there is only one best practice you need: do your research and book someone verified. That’s it. Don’t try to game the system. Just be smart.

If you want to send an anonymous deposit, which most established, verified providers are going to ask for, you can do it through: gift cards, crypto, Etransfer with an alias, Paysend, PayPal, Wise and Throne.

Well, glad sharing my experience was so helpful and a bunch of losers and/or idiots had fun to quickly judge me.
Of course, not all of us have hours to search everything beforehand. I have been a member for 12 years and this is the first time I get scammed ... I am happy with my batting average.

I sound like a broken record but always use Google image search on every pic as a very first step. A bunch of these pics are all over the internet. I've made dumb mistakes too man, it's part of the hobby, hope the next one works out.
As I've said so many times, most if not all banks will allow you to change into a nickname and anonymous email for etransfers.
It takes less than 5 minutes to switch and then back again.
That way nobody is receiving your true name or any personal information.
When I rarely need to return a deposit, I send the transfer back under a made up men's name or company name depending on my client's preference.
Exactly Kitty! I’m able to handle my e-transfers anonymously too. And you can now also send an e-transfer anonymously through two apps: Paysend & Wise. I can get e-transfers from the US now too! Discretion and anonymity are no longer an issue with the variety of options available.
Well, no one here should judge you because probably most have made the same mistake at some point.
The issue is more a question of why some clients keep knowingly, not only taking completely unnecessary risks whether sometimes successful or not, but advocating others do the same
It’s like drunk driving, just take an Uber. Why take on all this risk just for the unlikely possibility you might save $50?

Lots of people, including providers, also tried to be helpful to you. Yet you’re too butthurt to acknowledge that. That’s telling.

As would I. I am new to Ottawa. If people are using the AMP’s or providers reviewed on this site, how often or rare or LE interactions in Ottawa? Google searches and site searches show pretty much nothing in recent years. Also, are the LE interactions at the provider location or long after the fact where they track you down based on identifiable information?
Let's not be too hard on OP. Everyone who gets scammed is embarrassed, but he came on here trying to warn others. Let's cut him some slack.
