I think this is an emotional response to a poor response from TBill. I believe the way it started was Private Companions had posted a tread stating the normal rate was $250. TBill deleted the thread and PM'd Private Companions that rates over $200 weren't allowed. By the way, Private Companions had posted another thread offering a $200/hr special for last week-end.

In further posts, it sounds like the "special" and future specials were being offered in exchange for free advertisting and the $50/hr was atleast in part, coming out of Private Companions pocket.

The deletion of the normal rate post came after the special rate was offered and they were taking the special bookings. Private Companions complaint was TBills policy hadn't been clear. So, how would you guys feel if you took a 20% cut in pay in exchange for services and then find out the agreed service was being witheld - that you took the 20% pay-cut for nothing?

Would you feel pissed off and angry?

I wrote to this thread on Tbill's board. Tbill is not the law on escortt pricing, and either is Ms. Paige and creating a board because you are pissed off with another board is a great way to waste a bunch of time and money. These boards take work.

I disagree. I remember a recurring ad in Now Magazine in the mid 90s - "You don't get an Escort for under $200 - you get a disease and you deserve it!" That kind of bullying didnt work then and it wont work now. If the clients cave to price fixing -- service will be next -- Before long it will be back to the dark ages -- B&S, broken promises after the money changes hands (sorry I cant do that this time I'm sick - I'll do it next time), 40-minute hours with promises that next time will be the full 60..., Transportation fees that have to be paid after the service fee changes hands...

The prices are what they are because that's what they are worth to the client community and the service providers and their agents. Unless a sudden revolution happened overnight - an abundance of good Quality full-service attractive young SPs can still be enjoyed for $160.00 to $200.00/hr.

Adding another voice to the independents response, here's what I wrote in response to Shandra's thread on the other board after she explained her 70/30 split with the girls and how that resulted in them keeping 175.

And I keep the entire 200 out of each call I book Paige. I might make it appear that I'm charging less on a per hour basis, but that is only because I do honestly only see a couple of guys per week, on my day off from the office. I tried the conventional way a year ago and found that I wasn't having any fun myself, nor was I sexually satisfied. Now, I'm smiling all the time.

It may not be everyone's way - booking extended time periods for the price of a basic hour, dinners, museum visits, house parties etc, etc. - but it is my way and it makes me very happy, and that of course is reflected in my reviews. With reviews like mine, could I charge more? Probably, but it's not all about the money for me. I have a primary income. That's why I'm semi-pro, part-time and independent.

It isn't that your opinions are wrong, but they are narrow in view. This industry is huge, and if it can support girls at $800/hr, then it can support those lower than $200 as well. And everything in between. Your girl's I understand are pro and in it as a business, therefore they should charge more than someone like me who is relatively new, relatively older, and somewhat of a sexual hobbyist myself.
