I realize they can stay in place, but so far, they've been ruled illegal. I do suspect his rigged Supreme Court will rule in his favor. The question I have for you is, why are you cheering him on to the detriment of Canada?
Of course the Supreme court will rule in his favor...That's a foregone conclusion.

You're not a believer in super Carney anymore?..Where's your faith man?

Let's hope he accomplishes something worthwhile for a change without having to buy a bunch of leaky submarines. So far he's been a bit of bust

Dealing with a lunatic next door isn't an easy thing to do. Carney has the respect of all of the European leaders who, if the clown next door keeps going as he is, will become very important. Do you believe Pee Pee would have done better so far?

This is not about PP or Cons vs. Libs or even just dealing with Trump( although he's middle or lower trier compared to his peers on that ). Can you dig your head out your partisan sand box long enough to be objective? He as done nothing so far with an out of control public service, improve relations with China or India, or even Alberta.
Try cutting non-essential spending or at least keeping increases down to a dull roar. Something , anything.
The only thing that's positive is he is quite a bit better than the last guy.

I get a kick out of it when they pretend to ask a partisan question but can't refrain from the requisite slander...It's second nature at this point.

Carney sounds really good to be honest but like you say he's not getting a helluva lot done. He's staying away from the ultra progressive woke stuff that Justin embraced so far but you have to figure at some point he's going to regress to the mean . Although I hope he doesn't.

Trump has all the cards here unfortunately...Soon Carney will have to go down to Washington and get put through the sideshow and capitulate...It's inevitable. Carney and crew will spin it the best they can though.

Let me ask you, in all seriousness, what do you think ANY PM could have accomplished in the past four months? You understand that negotiating with Trump is problably like debating @richaceg, they constantly move the goalposts and bring up unverified data based on the feels....And, while you might think Trump has "all the cards," the reality is a bit more nuanced. And, I don't think Carney will capitulate. Will we give up some things? Possibly. But, will we also get somethings? Likely.

And, the reality is that things in the US could change drastically within the next month. Say the Supreme Court rules Trump's tariffs are illegal...what does that do with negotiations? On some level, it makes a lot of sense to wait the old fuck out. If the reports are true about his health (and I am very skeptical about this), he could be out of office soon.

The water retention is bigger than you think.

They will draw this out until the SCOTUS rules.
