I do not live in Ontario but am contempating buying a car in Ontario and taking it out of province. Can anyone tell me what taxes are applicable on used cars in Ontario and are they refundable if the vehicle is registered in another province? Has anyone ever done this and can give me some advice?

as well as the link provided, you should check where you live to see if there are any requirements that need to be met before the car can be registered where you live.
